lol This guy must be the most hardcore botter of all.
I might not think a closed forum would help but I think they should have to buy a key to post.

      This was my (abbreviated) appeal:

I told Blizzard i was sharing my 10 year old account with my nefew, who lives next door and shares my internet connection aswell. i stated that i didnt play so much my self these days, because im a bussy guy, and getting a bit to old for playing wow (my age in wow is 40+, im 29 for real). I also told them that although i dont play it so much anymore, i still verry much love wow, and that im verry attached to my verry old account.

I told them that I ONLY played on my palladin this patch, as this has been my main for years (it really was but I just neglected it this patch and did not bot on it). i also told them that all other 10 lvl 100 chars were leveled by my nefew and stated that i never ever did use a robot. (I kept using this word, and not bot) on my acount.

Sinds my little nefew is only 14, im the one moderating his actions I feel responsible for his behavior in game. Sinds he is family, he is allowed on my account.
So I told Blizzard I had to know what he used to cheat with (not bot) sinds he has his own computer, (i use a different pc for botting) and i am a total numnuts when it comes to computers.

i already got 4 ticked responses and it does look like I will get back my account.

What is intresting is what they told me, or more intresting is what they could'nt tell me: (this is not a quote, just a abbreviated version of what I got back, because if they read it, i might be screwed lol)

My name is *********, and I have just concluded a thorough investigation of the WoW account and the temporary suspension on the account. While we regret to take actions of this nature, our terms of service are in place to keep World of Warcraft both fun and safe for all of our players. When we perform an action such as this, we use our logs to detect suspicious behavior (everyone gets this)

You stated that because you are sharing this account with your nephew, you want to know what kind of cheat/program he was using. We can't tell what he was using, our best guess at this point is that it was a robot. In this particular case we can tell by the logs that it automated questing for him. (I was using the budyteam quest

By the looks of the messages i got back they did not scan my system...

I will hear from Blizzard, if i get it back or not, they told me it was very busy atm, and that it could take a while to get back to me. But they already told me that they might remove some achievements

Why would you say another person was playing your account, when account sharing is against the rules?

They clearly state that no matter who plays the account, you are responsible for it. Even if you had a nephew that played it, they would still ban the account because you are responsible for it. Trying to blame someone else and act ignorant never works.

At least use some common sense when trying to appeal.

You are kinda right, but this was the only thing i could come up with when appealing, i deserve a ban, just trying to get my acount back, i harm noone sinds i dont have a nephew..but if this works, im verry happy :p

You're incriminating yourself. You're trying to get your account back by admitting you've broken the rules. Rather than get your account back, you're risking making the punishment even worse.

I really do have a kid, and tried to blame my botting on him. Blizz said that no matter who was playing, the account is still mine and so I got the ban. They won't overturn it, and that's fine. I'm buying my new key in less than one hour anyway lol...

As I said, account sharing is against the rules, unless you are the legal guardian of your nephew, but since you admitted that he lives next door and shares your internet, it doesn't sound like you're his guardian.
