      yes and no.

this ban was targeting bossland, obviously, could be cause of court resuts but i doubt it, since info was gathered for a looooooooooong time.

we became to obvious. thats it. infested the game to a degree every kid and his dog could spot us.

nothing else. Be sure, if they want us gone for good, they can do it in 10 min.

if you think this isnt a cat and mouse game with a very tin line of acceptance you are being silly.

mate... i`d believe you but here is the thing. i`m sending garrison followers on 9 toons twice a day, which brings me from 70 to 100k gold coins per weak... i dont really need a bot for that )))

Of course we violated their ToS and EULA and what not - so thats their reason. But we try to determine what got detected and when, since we have peolpe not beeing banned for pvp botting and people not botting half a year its freaking hard tell if not impossible.
However - there might be another thing we didnt look at. which operating system were you guys using? Maybe, just maybe they can find out with win 7 or something, but cant on win 8 which i run since day 1 (and pretty unhappy with it btw.).
Maybe we got people on linux which didnt get banned too... there must be a reason why heavy botters were not banned while others running the bot once or twice got hammered.
maybe Bliz is just fooling us so we never find out ... who knows

You won't be able to determine what you're trying to. It's really not even worth trying to.

Seeming how HB is a windows only program, everyone was on a windows system that got caught. OS wouldn't mean anything either.

The reason they didn't get banned is because blizz missed them somehow. You won't be able to figure out why. As I said above, it's not even worth trying.

It's been this way since the beginning, people get banned constantly. Could be detections, could be user reports, could be a mix of the two. Every aspect of the bot was caught in this banwave.

You seems to still in need to find these good practices in gold selling, which are working for yourself. It is not Blizz's fault, that you are caught for gold selling, since its their job to counter it.

This only proves just one thing - they have used not a single method to deduct the botting accounts out of pool, but most likely they have joined in the flagged pool all their "hits", obtained via various mechanisms in the last year or in the last 6 months.

Including this "detection", being direct or with serverside scripts, lua calls, anything, including all the player reports, they have collected and (or maybe not?) confirmed, including these accounts, flagged by the famous server-side scripts for botting behaviors and only Blizz knows what ...

      P.S.:
Do not forget one single fact, which usually slips away in the last week:

Blizzard was extremely quiet and passive in the last 2 months, except the very few accounts (roughly 100-200 accounts in total, since only 54 reports we had on the botting forum section for 6 months suspension), suspended like 5-6 weeks ago. Taking the whole picture into account, these few suspensions now looks just like a "testing sample".
We were barely having ban reports since then, usually 1 or 2 every few days. So they were most likely collecting and delaying, till big number grows on their end, and the effect is multiplied!

We can all speculate about why Honorbuddy was targeted for a ban, but we all know why it came about at this time. The decision was only a week before and it has been proven that Blizzard is a sore loser.

But you want to see why I think Honorbuddy was targeted specifically? Since Honorbuddy was designed originally and named to help people get honor, people assume that this is all the bot does. Plus, when you see these videos below, you can see that the only bot that is referenced is Honorbuddy. However, we all know that after the big ban, the bg's are still plagued with bots.

      https://youtu.be/FHeSHT2ZDnU and https://youtu.be/2QppsW_sRWs

(Honestly, these videos actually made me laugh as I would be one person who would use the information to my advantage to win the bg's as the bots in these videos are predictable.)

(I also find Asmongold to be quite hypocritical. His video about bots (above), he is quite negative towards bots and how it is cheating. However, he made a video for everyone "How to Ninja Loot" as he thinks that is just fine in the game. https://youtu.be/SPejnXO5APc)

This, when it gets so bad that it is actually tarnishing the Blizzard brand name then you know shit is going to go down. They should have disabled BGBuddy a long time ago

I agree with OP about targetting PVP bots mainly. The same thing happened to PQR last year. I have been botting ~20 hours a week on my main account, every week until HB went down grinding leather or leveling alts, but NEVER BG BOTTED, and I still have my account

I suggest you to remove the dates off the picture. Too much records can identify you server-side, if some hater GM pass by this thread.

I would say you need to do more research and change the verbage of your argument. Maybe 90% of the gold sold by gold sellers is made by botters. However, the prolly account for a very few % of the actual gold sales as a % of the over all gold selling transactions.

Thanks for taking the time to come up with that though. Cheers!

it looks like only HB users got banned... so "HB botting just became too casual, so blizz stopped tolerating it."
There is another bot called *****, looks pretty similar to HB, and looks like using almost same methods, but none of them were banned.

Im sure it was HB banwave, no other botters were touched (except those who were reported manually by another players)

you guys are crazy, you know nothing. there is only one way to stay unbanned and its an old Plumber's trick.

first, you take a soda can, and slide it over your router antenna. this trick only works if your router has antennas.
then, you take a old dime. its gotta be the silver american dime, the one thats made of silver, not just looks silver. sorry euros, you may have to search ebay for one.
place the dime on your chair and sit on it. its gotta be kinda in the middle, but under your right butt cheek. but not like so far over it will come loose and fall off the chair.

now, here is the important part, you gotta type your login info with your left hand and hit the enter key with your right.

BOOM, you are set to go. I have never had a ban using this method, therefore it works 100% of the time. try it and i bet you dont get a ban.
