Ive used a bot for the last 6 years in wow and I got to say I got very bad.. I used to be quite a good healer, tank, and dps but relying on the bot for so long has made me a noob again! Im on summer break so when I got the 6 month ban I was bummed.. I just got draenor for a second wow account I had and now im levelin up a ele/resto shaman by hand. Im wondering how many people actually play by hand after using the bot for so long.
I was in the same boat as you, relied to much on CRs and am now playing by hand. Its not terribly difficult now a days since most rotations are 5-6 buttons. sad to say but I cant play Arcane mage for the life of me(1 button) but I can play fire mage no problem
I'm still botting, And I'd rather dip my balls in fish paste then dangle them in a pool of hungry paranahs then play wow by hand...
I was using another bot I found as second best but I was never so wrong. HB is the only good bot what is left is trash only good for specific farming. I am definitely gonna get banned after so many bugs glitches errors while using other bots I really regret using it. I am soo thankfull HB is coming back.
Yea some specs come easier to me as well even if they are "more complex" I can still play affliction lock really well.. and ele is pretty easy. Im lookin forward into actually healing by hand again.. I always enjoyed that. I can understand that! Doesnt surprise me. Considering how good HB is I would imagine most competitors would give up. PLUS HB is really good because of all the awesome users who have made content over the years.
Leveling a hunter semi-manually. As in using a combatbot but questing manually. And it is so farking boring that i feel like stabbing myself! Give me HB nao!
i have always played my main account by hand 90% of the time only using the bot to do mindless things like fishing then had 2 other accounts that farmed 24/7 for me sadly all 3 of them got hit with the ban hammer so had to re up the sub on an account that i suspended a long time ago to play again i rather enjoy playing by hand and not using the bot to do everything for me as for the people saying they are still botting is HB back up and running or are you using another program i still have another account that i can reactivate the sub for and start farming if it is
Its not as bad as I thought.. I guess when you havent actually played in years its not as bad.. at least for me.
Ich have leveled a shamen by hand, but I have no professions and no money at the new account and its frustrates:-(
Played manually successfully from Vanilla to WotLK (Hardcore raiding and casual PvP @ 2,2k rating in all brackets as Warlock, Paladin and Shaman in that order). Started back up again in late MoP as Monk, played it very well in PvP by hand but lacked severely in PvE in comparison to HB. So I started to use HB in PvE, gradually I started using it in PvP too on alts. Then I quit monk for druid, which I never really learned to play. Now I can't play any class anymore Druid is difficult in comparison to Monk I feel, too many hots to keep track of in PvP (prehotting). I tend to forget to prehot myself and get globalled on switches when manually playing
Nope. Can't 'play' this game anymore by hand. Gotta be a bot or not at all. And since the Tsunami i have leveled 3 100s. And i think that says 2 things: 1. This game sucks now and 2. I am addicted to botting
Yes. But i really enjoyed raiding with Enyo/CRs. After a long work day, and as a raid leader, you have to watch at the raid frame, the timers, healers CDs, etc... So it was a real comfort to only have to move manually while a part of the rotation was automated. I won't raid lead anymore, anyway this expansion is finished for me after the 6 months ban as i won't be able to catch up. Really disappointed by blizzard but i still enjoy the game (less than before for sure). Will play a bit "casual" and we'll see in a few weeks if the envy is still there...
I can't play by hand. Well, technically, I could, but the reason i started to bot was because everyone in groups and LFR made fun of how terrible I was. Ever tried to play with click to move + click your actions and click targets?... I only have one hand. This bot enabled me to not only do everything in the game, but I actually raided at a pretty high level for many years. It was kind of nice to be able to do things that everyone else could for a bit. Anyway, I'll just bot again once HB comes back.
