So my accounts got banned with HB when it got detected, first ban in my whole life of botting. Anyway trying other "software" they are acting all wierd NPC's not showing up with activating the "software profiles" but manually they show up. Tricky tricky Blizzard they are up to something and that something aint small. Anyway I got a new WOD account leveled up a toon "manually" it was very boring but learning how to master my one class has been fun. Doing BG's with no bots has been awesome, along with no CR's in Arena people arnt as bullshit as they where before. I find pvp fun again! But PVE such as quests and dungeons BORING! Raids are ok but doing my Garrison and Questing is boring as all hell. I think for me its time to master the AH again just to pay for my monthly sub then I will PVP. So it sucks that blizzard is smashing bots but its also good that PVP aint full of BS and BG's arnt utter garbage. Over the last few years the increase of automation and bots has been huge and noticeable from a mile away, any person with a brain would know the difference from a bot and a human player. I would like to know who else has started to play manually and noticed a fresh start was all we needed to love this game again. I am not saying that its a good thing that HB got hit but maybe we should think about limiting how many users should we have for a bot. (unless you want al the money in the world) then go ahead and sell it to people who may abuse it like crazy. P.S I was a hardcore farmer but the last 2 years I have been a casual botter.
i started a new account too...from 90 to 100 was very fun levelling ,now i enjoyed doing pve and pvp; there isnt bot in the game right now. PS: is a new game at last
it's not about arena but about bg...mass reporting went from bg report..... may be no more free bg bot bundled with hb could be a good idea....
No way Arena got out of control also with CR's destroying it. I also used CR's for Arena but the difference was I did most of my CC and proc's and what not manaully while CR's did my damage. At around 1800+ I seen people just turn on CR's and let it do everything. So damn easy to spot, like the instant silence/kick/stun and more.
I still think HB should be completely disabled in Arena as well. Its too visible. Raiding and what not is isolated with the people your with primarily rooting for you to do better. Arenas and BGs are against humans who are looking for you to fail and or lose... as crazy as it sounds getting mythic kills is less of a "wrong" than gaining rating with a bot on my moral botting compass. Not sure why, maybe because the people losing rating as you gain it are humans? Not sure it is hard to pin down honestly. however, I know many people use it and it would be a bad business decision to do so. So I get it'll never happen.
I don't think it matters because this Blizzard detection isn't going to be a one-time, isolated event imo. They've figured something out and in the end, making there game bot-free will have a positive impact on subscriptions. There is no way in hell Bossland and crew can throw the amount of resources that Blizzard can at protecting there game. Especially with the amount of increased revenue it will eventually receive. They've shown that they CAN make leveling fun and anyone that bothered to do it manually knows that the 90-100 experience is a testament to this. There are many others that will discover how much better the game is without bots and this number will be greater than the number that won't play because they can't bot.
You guys must not have brains...There's still plenty of other bots out there and plenty of pvp botting going on. Just because 1 bot got banned out of the 50 or so other bots out there, it doesn't mean botting in pvp is dead.
And they are uttly shit compared to HB, Ive seen them you dont need a brain to see how bad they play. Like for instance I did a BG yesterday seen a bot I just jumped back and forth between him the bot stood there for like 3 mins while I killed him ROFL. Also dont think blizzard is going to just stop with HB now they are also targeting the other bots at this point but the big % of bots was HB. I never said pvp bots where dead but it sure has cut down how many bots are in BG's/Arena Its just a matter of time these other bots get hit with a law suit and get shutdown before they even enter the court. No other botting company has the amount bossland does. But with that Bossland wins in court and blizzard spends millions on a new Warden.
Why do people think just because HB got hammered that there aren't any bots/scripts in PvP anymore? Blows my mind. And for the record, HB was by far not the best PvP bot routine users.
O god no BG buddy sucks so much I thought it was the worse, Until more people started to use these other bots.Also never said they are 100% gone we said it has dropped big time in botters in bg, I mean HB is only $10 a month download switch to bg buddy and away you go. While other bots that are very good cost way to much for the 12 year old boy Ive seen some rank from $40-50 a month.
I found this We have a TripWire system like Honorbuddy has, and we are not big enough for Blizzard to add hardcoded opcodes names like the ones they did for HB "SMSG_EnableHBDetection", but still we are very carefully following any change made to the WoW.exe.
Lol you guys make me laugh so hard. Blizzard can detect your bot and your worried about another person being 50% sure whether you are botting or not? What a joke. I love it when people get lost in the smoke of their own arguments. FYI, there are tonnes of other ways to do you rotations in arena. You don't really need HB for that so whether HB is disabled or not the CRs and automation will go on. Edit: Also your assumption that HB is the only way to bot in WoW is naive. I'm botting on two accounts as we speak...
Of course you are along with the other million who are botting for $5 a month with that unknown bot that will be well known in a few months then will get destroyed because it cant find a law suit. I am saying and I gotta repeat myself again that most PVP botters used HB for CR and BG Buddy even well known Glad's used HB for CR in Arena not saying that there arnt 50 other million tiny bots in WoW just saying HB was the most used PVP bot around. Yes you can create auto macro's and use snipplets to CC ect but not every tom dick and harry know how to do that. But every tom dick and harry can turn on HB and press start. As for myself I would never try a tiny noob coder bot because HB has been detected via some "unknown source" now blizzard have done it they are going to chase the others. The ones who have no money to fight a billon dollar company will just shutdown and you will get banned again. I will say this the count of bots in BG's from my personal exp it has at least dropped by 70% and it has been awesome. As for arena I havent seen any bs at my 2300+ rating but before HB gosh it was a bot fest.
I know comments above just make your head want to explode right, bots have a place in pvp, even though I know movement and auto facing need to be disabled, other then that combat routines are set to interupt like normal players no interupt is 100 percent instant, only a bad player will assume that, with out a bot a decent macro plus addon set up will have you interrupting even faster...
