Playing by hand. Day after botwave i got battlechest and WOD cheap. Leveled a warrior to 100. (never played warr) Currently 1800 in 2v2. Since when were toons this quick and easy to learn?
I multibox 5 main accounts by hand, and was botting 5 other accounts with honor buddy. Only 1 of the 5 got hit by the ban wave, the other 4 are collectiong dust till Buddy comes back! to afraid to try any other bots that are out there! lol!
I use other programms while hb is not working, but iam not so happy with it like work with HB. With my hunter i only can play with MM Routine and afk i only do the nagrand bone session. I hope HB come back soon.....
I am playing by hand yes but not WOW, i moved to FFXIV and i am really enjoing it so far. Im still checking HB just to see what the latest news is i have a second account on wow that missed the ban but after losing my main account i raided on i dont know if i can be bothered with it while HB is in a state of uncertainty.
So its been a few days since I posted this so I wanted to do a little update on how my account is going. First of all my main main account was banned 4 years ago but after my most recent main account was banned my the first one, which was 6ish years old at the time was unbanned.. Anyways I talked to GMs and they said they unbanned the old one but couldn't tell me why. I asked if the account had any "warnings" attached to it and they told me it was golden. With this knowledge I went and reactivated my original account. Since then I decided to join a populated server, the most populated, hit 100 on a resto/ele shaman, get 642 ilvl so far, make 33k, and upgrade my garrison to lvl 3. Honest to goodness I am having a blast. Not playing the game for nearly 6 years really made me feel like I couldn't and that it was boring, but I've been quite busy and having fun. Cheers! Edit. Playing by hand ye. After my IRL friend got banned, do I not see the point in using it anymore as the probability of a ban seems to have increased. And I don't want my guildies to suffer the loss of a healer. I do consider my self to be a good healer even without the bot(I don't really notice much(if any) of a difference in performance compared to me vs the bot here). But I'm not close to as good as the bot when it comes to dps, but I'm not horrible(and I can get better). I'm glad to hear that you also enjoy playing manually ^^
I mainly bot using CR's because I don't enjoy micro-managing everything when it comes to healing. I enjoy raiding and raiding with friends but past that, I can't be bothered. I would probably still bot with CR's even if they pulled average to below-average numbers.
I am pretty fortunate. I have been botting for years and hardly played much. It got to the point where basically since Wrath started I have used a CR. I have always owned a n52 but never really used it, so I set that up to play arenas manually with my friend. I am lucky I did this and it was superb timing. Anyway, I am having a lot more fun playing the game, and really... its not too difficult. Basically all classes are somewhat the same in the sense that each one interrupts, has CC, etc.. I just set my n52 up in this sense. I was literally button mashing at first. I knew in arenas I would need cc and interrupt, so bashing the buttons till I found them was fine, later I started learning what set of keys were associated to each action, then after a while I didn't really need to bash as much and started learning what individual keys were associated with each action. Its really wasteful at first (button mashing and using cd's). We lost about half the time with this method, but after a while you win way more than lose. I am still learning the arenas and how to utilize to my benefit, but that comes with time. Around the corner, around the corner, ATHENE! lol

Dissalowment in arena with a cr is bs. 1. people spend tons and tons of money on it. 2. arena isnt your problem. you never allowed automated arenas, problem on handplay? 0 since you need to know what you are doing and tweak your cr that u paid for or u wont get passed 1800. Regardless what any screenshot says @ the cr thread. Bg buddy was your problem, you never handled it in the past and now you make a shit decision like this. No i dont play arena, i play the ah but i dont get your retarded decision. so u will remove dungeonbuddy as well? And u are thinking about removing cr play in dungeons as well. this bot is history then, theres WAY more botting pvp then pve.. ever. I wish you well. And about your bs " sorry for the loss of your accounts " regardless of if we are to blame ourself, its bs! You sold us out, anyone without a tinfoil hat can see that now, bots will always exist in wow. Shame you went this way, cause it will kill yours and we, together with the cr makes, will move on! THIS much coincedence doesnt exist.
I'm done with this game. After investing 10 1/2 years it's probably for the best to get out now permanently. All but one of the people I've raided with, pvp'd with, or made friends with have quit playing over the last couple years. In fact, the only WoW friend I have that still plays is a RL friend, so I don't even need to play to keep in touch with him. The writing was on the wall for me even before the ban. I've taken a break since February but any plans to come back have disappeared now that HB has been intimidated into getting rid of PvP.
Couldn't agree more with this post. Does anyone really think that Blizzard will all of a sudden just stop bothering HB users because they stop supporting PvP? Why would they stop? They know they have HB on the run now and it shows them they are winning the battle and close to winning the war. It's true that PvP draws the most player reports, but so what, that's a ton of your subscribers. When people get pissed about the AH in a few months are you going to stop supporting Profession Buddy and AH bots/profiles? Or when people bitch again about GB2? It's a slippery slope you're creating, not to mention you're alienating a HUGE chunk of your customers. Congratulations! Not only did you lose a battle that you were winning, you handed Blizzard the battle plans to help them win the war.
