Howdy! So i started using HB today to level my farmer account. 3 hours of playing gave me a solid 9 levels with a druid profile downloaded from here. I have two issues. I purchased new spells and my actionbar has Wrath Rank 2, but HB keeps using Rank 1 so I was wondering how can I adjust that. The second issue is. that my farmer pc has the same IP address as my main and therefor buying a new account has no use at all since they will be linked together. Can anyone tell me how to obtain a different broadcast IP address on my second computer they are both wireless connected to my Router. I tried searching the forums but I didnt find usefull information so dont flame me if I searched wrong or something. I hope someone will be ablre to help me out sincerely, Grumbkow
as far as i know if you want 2 hb's running they need 2 different logins or buy a lifetime or raf login and you can use multiple logins to do exactly as you posted... otherwise you will have to proxy one of your pcs or use a vpn or something of that nature... and for the spell rank 1 to use the next one... it should be using the next one automaticly... but try not to use show all ranks... for 1 and 2 add enhanced tool tips then you should be okay
I'm only using one HB and don't intend to use 2 but my mian play account should have a diff ip so im setting up a proxy now. I dont understand the enhance tooltip menu. I display only 1 spellrank but it uses rank 1 still so..
What version do you need for that? Im currently using the test version just wanted to check it out first but im definetly buying it so i might buy a better one anyway
1-20 trial works with i think could be wrong just download honorbuddy 1.22 and test t3st and should be up and running
HB does not use spells from the toolbar it use it directly from the spell book -- you don't even need to place spells on the toolbar. Each time you train you must close and restart HB in order for it to detect the new spells. Unless you are using a plug-in eTrain in which case it will do this automatically. What on does your IP address have to do with your main account and your farming account? HB is not linked to IP address. You simply run the number of copies you have purchased and are licensed for. If you want to run multiple copies of HB it is a good idea to have them in separate folders and rename the Honorbuddy.exe file to something different for each instance of the application you are running.
I want diff Ip's because of the following reason. This farming account will iuse gatherbuddy later on. When this acc gets reported/banned and they see my main account uses the same ip address im afraid my main playing account also gets banned. Thanks for the info ill try to get etrain.
They also don't ban accounts bounded by IP addresses? I thought that was an issue but in that case thanks for the information given!
What would happen if you are playing WoW at an Internet cafe and one person was botting? Do you think blizzard would ban every WoW account play from that single IP address? There could potentially be hundreds of accounts banned as a result of one person bot. Also, let's say you have a whole family playing WoW and a little Johnny is botting, does blizzard ban the entire families accounts as a result of one person just because they are all behind the same IP address? There have been many times (unfortunately many more than I care to admit) where I have lost accounts due to third-party use (Botting) and my non-botted accounts have been safe, also my wife's accounts were untouched. It is quite the ongoing myth that accounts behind the same IP address will be banned if one is botting. In a nutshell, you have very little to worry about. Though, Blizzard do state in their terms and conditions that all accounts with associated contact and payment details (i.e. credit card) can and will be banned. Through personal experience I have not found this to be true.
Ok? this is very nice to read=) I think i was worrying a tat too much. My battle.net account uses different names/address and I pay by gamecard so i'm safe I guess. Thanks for your replies etc=)
