nope, just a realist. BL could have just dropped the whole project. Instead, he offered a compromise (one I am sure was not taken lightly) so HB has a chance of surviving. Once again, if you use a bot in arena you don't prove how good you are. Might as well post, "I use a bot!" in the chat every 5 seconds.
Exactly. Still a high-quality product. Better than the competitors by far....

i agree with you but don't forget, so many people use only HB for arena and the last speech of boosland is

RIDICULOUS... the real competitive mode is PVE for the 1srt kill in MM... Not the PvP mode.

the best method for me is delete the instant CS/trap/vanish sap, reflect auto instant-charge, ...

disabled automated bots in arena, bgs, raids and dungeons, only allow non-moving bots.

      wow....

agree the majority of gamers as well as blizzard themselves care more about pve than pvp.

the sub token release had alot of botters/gold farmers messing with the AH's which pissed blizzard because it involves real life money, they had to re-launch the token after they could catch botters and the ban wave/detection actually came around the same time as the relaunch.

also you cant be that narrow minded to blame just pvp for this as whenever anyone queues for a dungeon in any stage of the leveling experience theres tons of botters in every instance, i been in near full bot instance groups before, some times the bots just wipe the group over and over, theres alot of cases of bots affecting the game in other areas apart from pvp.

Not really, every nerf that has been made almost has been due to people having a problem with the spells/classes in pvp (I would say they care a lot)...and what they care about more is the massive amounts of youtubers/twitchers making reports about them and making it more well-known, there are several youtube videos of people showing kick bots in arena and running around following a full 40 vs 40 battleground where its pretty much bot vs bot and them spending 20 minutes saying "dang! I had no idea it was this bad! this is ridiculous" there is maybe 1-2 vids out of people complaining about raid/dungeon bots. and to the guy that said that he saw a dungeon bot pull 20 mobs then leave, he's full of crap (or a terrible troll). They only follow someone in dungeons from what I have seen and they don't leave afterwards. Secondly, if he pulled 20 mobs and left how were you able to determine it was a bot? Did he say "hey im a bot and im pulling this stuff, cya"? because that would be the only way you could determine that in that amount of time.

the first part of your post about nerfs makes no sense at all please go into detail. the game is designed around pve first along with the mainstream newbie audience, they even admitted in videos to wowhead on youtube when they change pvp they dont aim for competitive gaming they aim at the majority of newbies having a fun experience, pvp isnt balanced enough and they wont balance it so low skill pvp is effected even if it means fotm classes clearly reign supreme for entire seasons at top tier, that leaves pvp broken, top tier pve would not be left broken, they would be ashamed and apologize if people couldnt do mythic or heroic dungeons due to game mechanics or bad design. wow is a awful pvp game thats why it was discontinued as a serious e-sport when they attempted to make it the next cs or starcraft in wotlk.

in your post you say massive amounts then say several. you quoted me then went off on one about something else, salty people and fanboys reporting people who cares, reporting happens 24/7.

the kick bot i seen/found is actually a addon like any other addon and you can customize ingame like a basic addon, i messed around with HB with combat routines and its really awful for advanced pvp/arena as it cycles a routine, pops everything at bad times but HB does kick stuff but its not intelligent, manually moving while having combat on in HB is really awful because it tries to sticky the target, if theres some paid for combat routines or something i am missing with HB i would be very surprised if that is the kickbot people rant about but i actually think the kickbot people are using isnt HB.

mate i could make a video of the leveling dungeon experience with bots its very obvious and bots do wipe people by accidently pulling trash or they can get stuck, most times they are good but just as a example last time i used the bot in dire maul a few months ago it couldnt short cut over the walls and constantly pulled from aggro wiping the group, i was constantly kicked and reported by players, i had to quest or manually level past that instance if i remember. you cannot just point the figure at pvp and like i said this banwave come around at the same time as the wow token.

I'm pretty sure the largest amount of complaints from players would be in Random Battlegrounds, not Arena. While I noticed lots of bots in arena in 0-2k rating, they are all easy to beat if they don't know how to position themselves, use CDs properly, how to counter certain things and chain CCs. The ones that do know these things you rarely notice botting behaviour from, because you assume they're good enough to do what the bot does. The CRs used in arena wont work above 1750 rating if you've got everything on automatic. Most things you'll have to control entirely on your own, basically only using the rotation of the CR.

The only exception is instant interrupt and possibly those 0.2 second spell reflects from Warriors.

In random battlegrounds, however, you can see a bot train of 20+ people ruining the gameplay for everyone else in it because they are such an overwhelming majority in that aspect of the game.

Either way I'd say this decision is the HB team grasping at straws because they seemingly don't understand how their software was detected, all they've done so far is speculate(?). So we're to be thrown at the hope of Blizzard turning a blind eye to the continuation of massive botting by sacrificing Honorbuddys PvP oriented customers. Again I speculate that this will have no effect on Blizzards future decisions about doing banwaves targeted at Honorbuddy again, and again, and again until the real issue has been resolved (whatever that may be).

Time will tell. I wont sink anymore money into this whichever way it goes.

Again, the decision to remove the ability to do Arenas had nothing to do with getting caught. It is all about lowering the profile that Honorbuddy gets on the forums. Yes, the overuse and afk botting in the BG's has caused quite a stir to bring attention, but you can go to the Blizzard forums and read about the bot complaints about Arenas. So it was decided to eliminate the ability to do Arenas with the bot since it was already unsupported for that purpose.

As for what got us all banned is that Blizzard was unable to really ignore Honorbuddy with all of the complaints of people over utilizing the bot (Arenas, BGs, leveling, ect), so they acted upon it. Plain and simple. No one has said any different!
