I have been using Kicks for the last 5-6 hours with no problems so far, happily questing away and levelling in Mt Hyjal.
only way to actually confirm would be for bossland to test the bot on some accounts themselves since the internet is full of trolls
no way they ban manually... maybe HB is still detectable, but the detection kicks in only under certain circumstances, like a report for bot of # of kills inside instance...
Just to confirm, you said that you can see the amount of HB Sessions aren't decreasing, but increasing? I have an old account with WoD at level 91, if you could verify I'll throw my account at it. I've been a lifetimer for a while so I'm not trying to troll here.
5 accounts banned. I got a charactor to lvl 20 on each, different battle net accounts over the last week and didnt bot until today. US accounts. Today i started up Hb, went right to kicks 12-58 profile questing. An hour later was all banned. Got emails and DC all at the same time. After banwave i started new accounts all trials. Upgraded to paid today. That also makes me think how they got me....
Why are people going to back to the most obvious places, that has been known for a long time to be red zones for detection, load up 5 characters and just ham away for hours on end? This is the exact definition of not laying-low. I doubt it'd even take a computer to figure out those were bots. A quick scan of old school instances with max level characters. Hmmm, suspicious, let's check if they are doing human things? Hmmm, nope, they are all running the EXACT SAME SCRIPT EVERY TIME.... We need to get wise up people. Blizzard are being aggressive with this.
Which version of HB are you guys using, which were banned today? Is it the official newest release, or a release you got from an external source?
I lodged appeals on all of the 5 accounts all worded different, and spaced apart time wise and got different rep each time. All said similar things, email contained all the information i needed to know, no refund for today purchase, and no doubt was up to no good, except for one. The one i screenshot said it was a suspension but you can see the email says a closed account. Other reps didn't say it was a 6months suspension and led me to believe it was permanent.
Also, the bot only became live yesterday? How did they bot last week as we have been offline for almost 2 weeks now?
