[PAID] GarrisonButler

just posted this and adding it in here for a follow up

happening to me, it enters some sort of LOOP when using garrisonbutler ICE
im TRYING to use it with hbrelogger and I get this from relogger's log

[1:53:57 AM] DK tol: starting C:\HButtered\Honorbuddy.exe
[1:54:40 AM] DK tol: WoW and HB startup sequence complete
[1:54:40 AM] DK tol: Opened communication with HBRelogHelper
[1:56:41 AM] DK tol: Honorbuddy is not responding.. So lets restart it
[1:56:41 AM] DK tol: Attempting to close Honorbuddy
[1:56:42 AM] DK tol: Closing Honorbuddy because it took too long to attach

But honorbuddy DIDN'T close, its there, it's ON as far as I can tell, cause it still has the STOP button on the right bottom
But it is not doing anything... It's just there, ON and not running

Thanks Deams for the last fixes! GB is working really good! I wonder if you can add the option to execute a macro "N times" before or after the tasks, that way every user can customize different fixes, in my case I use a huge macro to use the blue gear from missions so the bot can DE them later, thanks again man! Great work!

 

so,

i ve checked all my 15 chars with new hb release and latest gb version.
i have 3 issues with 3 classes. my druid, pala and rogue, all 3 on alliance side
attached you can find the logs and i hope you can fix the issues

druid: stopped within missions
pala: stopped after vendor
rogue: stopped after salvage yard

Would you consider refunding customers?

 

This was an excellent product, but i cant believe how unresponsible of the developer to just overloook personal stuff and let it get to this stage. I demand that the honorbuddy team look into this and somehow refund the garrisonbutler customers. I bought both the lite and the ice version and have not gotten to use it much due to all this stuff happening. I don't want to be whiny or sound like a bad person, but after all i am a paying customer and i wish to get my money back and refund both of these products.

Don't get me wrong deams it was a great product and it worked great, but you promised ALOT too much with the ICE version.

Developers can't do that in the buddystore.

 

Well, I got hit in the banwave. Since a number of people were banned that didn't use Garrison bots were also banned, I don't think it was related. However, if you are reading this thread, you might wait a couple days before resuming your botting.

 

I just got banned as well. 8 years.. first ban..

 

Same here... 15 accounts banned for 6 months.
First time since WoW started. -_-
Time to buy new ones and level them up...

 

Why though. Is Honorbuddy even going to come back? Who would use it knowing they're building up progress on accounts that could be banned at any time. Not me, and without HB I really cbf playing.

I know that come November 13th I wont be re-installing WoW and I bet a very large portion of the banned think the same way. This is a good time to call it quits, like I should have done the day I downed LK.

For you Deams, you must have learned a lot about managing a software development project, thats some pretty marketable skills and experience right there, you should move on and make some real money doing what you seem to love, and are very good at. Adios, and thanks for your efforts and good luck for the future. Hey at least on corporate projects when you hear other developers talk about moaning clients you will smile and smile! (thinking "this is nothing lolol").

 

Because he made a commitment to the user of the product. Because he is required to provide support for that product for a set amount of time per the rules of the HBStore. Because he wants to do the right thing?


Of course HB will be back. THey just needed a swift kick in the ass and this was it. I doubt they get detected again for a very long time once they figure out what happened.

You're right, I committed myself and the most important reason for me is that you trust me to bring you something you paid for.
I will certainly buy new licenses and a few 90(ouch) when hb will be back, but gonna take a lot of time to get back to a full test suite.

 

Good to hear bud. Might be faster and more effective to just buy a token and sell it on 1 bnet and then buy BoAs and level a bunch that way than buying a bunch of 90s! Would have a 100 DK pretty fast ad then the rest can level as you start in on GB again!

Just an idea financially it may make more sense if its only gonna add a day or two to you have a 100 again. Hell at this point I doubt people will be sweating a day or two lol. Prolly take a week till most/many people realize HB is back up. (when it is)

 

I believe it would take most battleground players about 20 minutes to notice the return of HB, because the queues will be shorter. the biggest single sign HB is back? : there will be people queued for AV.

It doesn't take too long to get a dk to 60 with heirlooms, then set up 2 professions and use the veteran boost bonus to help set up 2 professions to 600. after that, the level 2 garrisons take about 4 hours of questing.

As for the bot, it's going to take a while for people to decide whether to come back, because of the decision to close HB for ~> 2 weeks, people will just move to other bots or not play at all, or believe it's still compromised.

Without knowing the mechanics of how HB was detected, it's going to be a lot more vexing. If it's DNS based, or LUA based, if it's relogging based, et al. The trust is gone.
It's going to be an interesting June /July to see if authors and devs come back to revise their work they put on the buddy store.

 

So HB is up again, I managed to get ready for it and tested the current release of the Butler.
It worked perfectly for me and the beta users so far.

I might be pessimistic but I'd advice to be careful, another ban wave is really likely to occur if Blizzard decided to kill HB. :/
Anyway, will keep throwing accounts and $$$ at it to ensure the butler works for you guys.

 

i have the version from svn and it have worked flawless (but still called garrisonbuddy in hb) worked fine until hb went down... now it spamms work orders and hug the tree behind the flightpath all the time

 

lol it have been hb teams garrion buddy it have just ignored the svn bot that i had always ran your before and used svn worked fine.. possible to get in on the beta of yours as i cant get it on store anymore

hi when i click bot config button this screen is shown

 

Is the butler getting worked on still? been a few days since hb has been up and im getting the same error as above when i click the bot config screen and even if i let it run its course without click the bot config and just press start it stands there doing nothing.
