Saw a lot of suspensions to do with questing, could be total chance I realise what I'm saying is complete conjecture but I was a little paranoid about using kicks to quest with. Possibility of detection? Just wondered is everyone running his profiles ok? i was doing instances till 90 you see and I'm about to do 90-100 . Thanks.
we'll i've been doing 1-54 thus far all in practically one session. (little under 2 days with some 'stucks')
That's what I was assuming looking at the 72hr suspensions. If you get looked at it's obvious you are a bot... bots just... well look like bots.
It's just especially obvious at the moment because many HB users started new accounts when HB came back up. How many started running Kicks profile I wonder? So many people doing the exact same thing is what's making this higher risk then anything else at the moment.
I just wish Cava's stuff was a little easier to manage within HB. I have it but stopped using it a while back. Due mostly from the maintenance required.
out of curiousity, are you running your bots that are leveling simultaneously? I was running 3 at a time, then they got hit with bans. Now doing accounts 1 by 1 and they're fine so far.
Only been running for 10 minutes (Horde, Gorgrond 92-94). Graphics all at their lowest, using a Tuanha routine, and the plugin TurnOffCTM is active. With these parameters, am I as safe as I can be as long as I keep watch? (I am well aware that I am not 100% safe, but a ballpark estimate will suffice) EDIT: The profile still appears to be using CTM, despite the aforementioned plugin turning it off (I cannot CTM manually). Should I be concerned?
I've botter 5 1-100 and 3-90-100 since HB was released after ban wave (multiple accounts) I have not received any bans of suspensions.. So I do not belive blizzard have away to identify uses running kicks profiles, however I do belive GMs them self, (not all but some) have familiised them self with kicks profiles, (what profiles are completed, quests skipped ect) most importantly where the profiles commonly slip up.. They keep a eye on these spots and and perhaps even flag users that time out or fail quests ect in these areas, then investigate further.. All theories of cause, I have only my experience to back me up.. I have leveled that many toons with kicks now, I know what levels are probmatic and simply do not afk durning those levels/areas.. Although 90-100 for alliance now seem to be faultless now (good work kick), all my alliance toons since the new release did not fail/stop/dc/afk a single time from 90-100. So I can not leve running those profiles overnight now
Runnings kicks on a DK. Did 55-64 with breaks and meanual play for dungeons now and again. Got stuck a few times but mostly fine.
Yeah that is why I was just asking to be cautious, because I was thinking if I was a blizzard employee i'd familiarise myself with this profile. As it's the exact same order everyone will do stuff in so it'd be easier to catch you i'd assume whilst running something that has a very similar pattern to others. Obviously this is just totally my opinion and not founded in any evidence, I just wanted to make sure.
I imagine that you cannot turn off CTM because that's what the bot uses to move. Without it it'd likely just stand still, and is usually (to my knowledge) only disabled when you are using a CR for an instance and would like to do the moving manually when movement would not be controlled by HB regardless. If you play and bot on the same account often the addon can either turn it off for you when you manually play, or you can make a macro for it and disable it when unneeded.
Click to move, has no bearing on anything.. My self, manny guildies, an many many more players, use click to move out side of raiding..before my botting days click to move is how I've always quested, it takes the strain out your fingers.. Millions of legit wow players and even gms that play the game use Ctm.. Thinking that the using it will make you look like a bot is silly
From what I saw on my server there are still alot of botts in the new zones. I made a night elf druid and before I even turned on kicks I saw 5-6 other druids with nimes like "ghjgf" running within two or three steps of each other doing the same quests.... I just logged out and made a Worgen. I think its the GMs just seeibg stupid shit like that and dropping the suspensions
