[Another Auto-Angler]

much love highvoltz, the previous auto angler you posted in this thread didnt work for me but hopefully this one will, i really apreciate you making the effort despite you lack of interest.

 

why will this bot not work?

do i have to make any keybinds or anything?
honourbuddy does not even recognise autoangler
do i need to have the fishing minimap pool finder thing the quest thing you get in wow for seeing pools on your minimap or will honorbuddy auto run to them?
honorbuddy will not even use a flying mount i put my flying mount name in the mount name and it just uses a ground mount anyway

It's because you provided valid error messages that we can use to solve the problem!

 

there is no error message lol i put auto angler in bot folder started honorbuddy put it in grind and loaded the defaul pool fishing xml and it just followed the hotspots and killed animals it could reach

0 fishing pools identified or approched

doubt you need a error file for that mate


can some1 just please confirm you do or dont need Weather-Beaten Journal for this to work? pool tracking for wow

 

i dont think so, hb should be able to read it without the tracking ability
Im sure it just someone forgot to update for a few changes

 

Highvoltz, I am running this at the Dalaran Fountain now and its functioning properly, but not looting any of the catches. I have tried it with Auto Loot enabled and disabled in game, and changed all of the looting options within HB as well, nothing has seemed to affect it. the bot casts just fine, but when the loot window pops up, it just sits there with its thumb up its ass until i intervene.

 

Using the new AA + Twilight Highlands profile I found that it takes like 5 seconds to bot realizes that its being atacked, meanwhile it walks away during that time.

Edit : Before atacking the mob, it uses water walking again, and then falls again, it really struggles my level 85 shaman.
I'm experiencing some random HB crashes aswell, I think it's due to not finding any pool sometimes, I'm using Twilight Highlands Flymount.

The Random Crashes I'm looking into. Its pretty hard to trace since its not throwing any exceptions

 

Are you running any WoW looting related addons ? If so, try disabling them to see if that fixes it

New release, fixed the crash, should blacklist less often, and added a dropdown list of flying mounts to choose from in the UI

 

its a plugin, you need copy the AutoAngler folder to the Plugins folder

 

i did mate i put the auto angler foler in the "bots" folder and there is no recalection of the plugin from honorbuddy in plugin section

i loaded the pool fishing xml and it just runs up and down the waters edge passing the pools and doing nothing

M8, You dont put the plugin: AutoAngler in the "bots" folder, You have to copy,paste it to the "Plugin" folder!

 

It wasn't crashing however he was flying right by every pool there.

 

This is awesome, there are just a few things that I've noticed since I started using this awesome plugin.

In short this is what I'm requesting:
1. Check if underwater before fishing, if underwater and Water Walking Elixer is on you jump, if not remount and goto next waypoint.
2. Combat check before popping a Water Walking Elixer and possibly a ~10 wait time after combat before popping another Water Walking Elixer.
3. Option to Enable/Disable Pool Ninjaing.

And the longer explanations:
1. Due to the nature of Click-to-Move, paths that are selected within water take you under water reguardless of if you have a Water Walking Elixer on or not. Would it be possible to add a jump overide if Water Walking Elixer is present on the toon and the toon is receiving the error saying "I can't do that under water"

2. When utilizing a Water Walking Elixer and standing on the water, if you aggro a mob, instead of switching to combat and killing it, the bot pops another water walking elixer and trys to continue fishing. This will burn all your Water Walking Elixers and you will never kill the mob, just continue to attempt fishing.

3. On multiple occasions I've seen my toon fish out of the same pool that another person is already fishing out of. An option to ignore pools with someone within ~40 yards would be very nice.
