Probably interns who haven't read their e-mails.

I don't see why you'd want to return after 6 months if they don't at least freeze the in-game mail on suspended accounts, or collect them individually.
Why not make it "fair" and remove every piece of gold and non-BoP item from all the characters while they're at it?
Because those who keep getting denied are the unlucky ones who might've not collected said mails? And those who had no auctions/mails are "lucky" ones? This doesn't make any sense to me.

don't be, it means a higher chance that this player will reactivate the account after the suspension ends.

This is offence, which could probably be classified as blackmail and if you have screens of the chat logs, you can sent them an email to: CSFeedbackEu@blizzard.com for concern how certain GM is treated you.

Yea I tried this and the gm said they can't do anything on suspended accounts. Of course naive me not wanting to believe people are sad enough to blatantly lie about this sort of thing, I sarcastically told the gm it must be a brand new policy or perhaps it's up to the individual GMs discretion which is bs and I must have lucked out and drew the asshole.

Hopefully they can't ban over customers being miffed at dicky behavior. Then again I could be just getting trolled by kids who find humor in things such as pulling wings off flies.

We shall see what happens when they reply I guess.

I can personally guarantee that items lost after expired ingame mail are not recoverable. When I went on hiatus, my leather heirlooms were in my mail, apparently and I lost them forever. GM said they are unable to recover them and they weren't listed as recoverable through Item Restoration. If it comes to that, you're screwed.

I got nothing from my mail. These screnies are fabricated. GM said they can't even log onto a suspended account.

Well surprisigly enough those weren't fabrications. I got a reply from a "specialist" so I assume it was elevated after my re opening.

Apparently you can't copy and paste text from there (atleast on an iPhone) and I'm not going to type it all out but apart from the polite blizzard mumbo jumbo he said he recovered 46 of the 159 items I had available. Nothing of importance though. I was told due to how the mail works and my lack of inventory space I was unable to get the gold because it was at the end (which was all I really wanted).

Too bad but maybe it will help someone else atleast. If at first you don't succeed, try try again :p

They can suspend an account, but they can't freeze mails. Are they noobs in IT or something?

I assume its just an additional way to punish. Just like your account stops. Your subs stop. But magically your tokens keep on rolling. Wish I never would have bought them. Atleast when/if I came back I'd still have a half a milly gold to play with.

I was told by the gm that they can't touch locked accounts. But what he did do for me was extend my mail to a point that it can be recovered in November if I put in a ticket at that point. It did take a lil social engineering as he didn't offer it up right away. Remember, you catch more flies with honey then you do vinegar.

I had a similar issue, but I've been told by 3 different GM's we can recover it.

I got my mail retrieved from a mailbos twice on both my 6 month banned accounts. He said it was an exception. The other GM told me it was no problem.
