Yes, it works very well. But I am only using it with questing. It somehow calculates where the nearest innkeeper is and travels to it. Never used it in an instance

 

hi Keanu if you got a moment im having an issue with your plugin at the moment, ive done every possible test and fix I can think of and its been narrowed down to your plugin causing my issue as far as I am aware

when I have your plugin enabled my wow client will crash during loading screens at random giving me the dreaded 123 error,

if you need logs tell me what you need and I will run game and hb to generate them for you

 

Yes please, show me your logs from a session with the crash you described.

/status gives me back 3 status messages Other commands works fine.

Is it possible to include an option to specify a default local and remote gmail address for Sharp for ALL WOW characters?

 

Could you please record a log file with the "status" bug and send me your full log so I can look into it?
And no an option for global settings does not exist currently.

 

Solved. Don't know why but it only happened on my iPhone yesterday.

 

Does anyone experience same problems with WoW crashes? If so please contact me for access to the beta version which hopefully fixes the crash.

 

No, I am running the program in a virtual box on my MAC OS X (Fusion, with Windows 8.1). Works ok.

Your remote and local email is not correct I guess. Specify them and log out and login in again.

LocalUser = <username>@gmail.com
RemoteUser = <username>@gmail.com

OK, you can update the settings also with notepad.

In the Honorbuddy directory C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Honorbuddy\Settings\Sharp Messenger is a file with the default values for each user.

The file is named: SharpMessenger_<WOW character name>

This file contains the following lines (open with Notepad):

<LocalUser>yourlocalaccountname@gmail.com</LocalUser>
<LocalUserPassword>password</LocalUserPassword>
<RemoteUser>yourremoteaccountname@gmail.com</RemoteUser>

Change the values yourlocalaccountname, password, and yourremoteaccountname with your own values and start-up Honorbuddy. You should be ok then.

 

Please try to activate less secure apps again and deactivate Hangouts (see user guide in the first post).

Trying your product. Configure it. It sends information, like HB started etc., but when I send /help nothing heppends, but in bot window i'll see :
[Sharp Messenger] Message '/help' from Google Talk.
[Sharp Messenger] Message not from configured user. Ignoring.

Why is it not configured user if it sends me information about HB stops and starts?

What I do wrong?

 

Did you register 2 different Google accounts? Are you sending commands from the same Google account which is configured in the "Remote Google Talk User" setting?

 

Of course, if not, I will not recive information about status of my char. One acc with one e-mail, other - with other e-mail.

And, Keanu, could you reset please trial, cos I can not try more your product. I try to use it this night.

Disable Hangouts - hm, I use Hangouts app on iphone, and on it those messages coming. I did something wrong?
Yes, I allow send messages. I turn on first acc on my iphone, write message, then turn second and answer.
