Hey guys so since cataclysm ive made 100's of thousands of G. I bought every epic off the AH and used them for my char and now i have no use for money. There is no way im selling it for $0.8 per K ! I really wanted to get my archeology up and due to there not being a plugin i said to my friend "Ill give you 5000G to get me from 1-450" and he was like "OMG YES" (hes a lvl 60 or something). I traded all my gold etc to an alt acc and stuff and he leveled it up very fast for me and i paid him. It makes you sort of realise how valuable gold is to people who bot, and how invaluable it is to me. So im just wondering, has anyone here used gold for something similar? wow related or non wow related services? XD !
I payed my brother to do the Sons of Hodir quest in Wotlk And I pay gold to him and a friend for selling my farmed goods on 2 servers. ( I only manage 2 of my 4 servers...takes to long to do them all for me)
Hehe, I pay people to do my stuff 'cause I'm lazy mainly, got someone to finish off my merrymaker achieves for 1.5k, which made it a hell of alot easier for me. I don't see a problem in doing it, your giving them money, of which they need seeing as their doing stuff for you and your simply paying them for their troubles. I don't mind paying 3k to do stuff because, they need the money and offering a exchange of money for a service is more reliable than loaning them 3k then they disappear and never pay you back, which has happened to ne but I didn't care.
not anything wow related, but ive never been good at botting for gold. but in real life, if your friend was the manager at best buy and this $2000 flat screen tv fell of a forklift and there was nothing wrong with it except for a dented box, and he called you up "hey i got this tv, and the box is dented, im going to mark it down to half price, you want it?" then yea id give him a couple of bucks. but wow, no probably not.
I love to have the gold, to get rid of all the boring time in wow. Having 2 accounts is perfect for this. Just want to throw this out there,,, you have no idea what people will do for gold, cough cough.
Well.. I just had my friend pay for my bigmac (6 Euro) for 4k gold. 4k gold is nothing so i felt like it was a nice deal when my stock is 200kg+
I've offered friends 10,000 gold to get me 1-525 archaeology. NOBODY has taken me up on the offer. Archaeology seems to be universally hated. But I routinely pay friends gold for character transfers, race changes, time cards, etc.
