Ultima - The Ultimate Combat Routine

SMN mega spam spell/ interrupt. I'm guessing it's a range issue? I'm not sure.

Hrm. Right now the AoE logic checks the enemy's location (a dot @ the center of the mob's feet) and checks the radius of the spell from that dot. Basically it checks to see if it casts a spell @ that mob, if it will hit the other 2, 3, 4, etc. mobs around it.

It might be that the dot is too small to accurately gauge the radius and I might need to tie in the mob's CombatReach (which is basically their hitbox I think). I'll do some testing and see how it goes. Thanks for the heads up.

It's due to Ruin II/Energy Drain/Fester/Bane. I've had a hard time chasing down all the bugs with their interaction (it should use Ruin II before every off-GCD spell, but there's so much logic in Energy Drain/Fester/Bane that Ruin II has a hard time knowing when to fire and sometimes ends up spamming when it shouldn't). I'll take a look (and hopefully that mechanic will change in the expansion because I hate it lol).

 

For some reason when using Ultima as Whm she won't cast stone at all. only aero and heals. Anything I am missing?

Update: nm, had an old version and updating to the latest version fixed it.

 

I actually had the same issue and used Kupo for the first few levels and then switched back. I dont think it was a version issue, i think it was a level issue. Same thing happened i believe to me for black mage as well, wouldnt use the low level spells til like level 4 or so. Didnt log it or anything, just remembering from a few weeks ago.

 

Don't know if this is reported or not but BRD aoe is broken. It spams Quick Nock instead of Wide Volley. This is because Quick Nock's radius is 12 and Wide Volley is 5. Point being, you never want to be spamming Quick Nock when you get free casts from Wide Volley and Rain of Death(both 5yrd)

 

Quick Nock is supposedly better to cast unless you get a free cast of Wide Volley/Rain of Death. However, you're right in that it looks like I didn't configure Wide Volley properly (it's not set to cast when a free cast is available). I'll get it fixed in the next version, thanks.

 

anyone know some easy ways to modify this so the bot uses cross skills, or get it to use all of the abilities it gets as a standard class? like my maurader dosent even use bloodbath, or the cross class skills i have selected in the bot to match in game.

if bloodbath or things like second wind show up as being cast it was manually, im not sure how far back this log goes.

but anyway, does anyone know how to configure this so that it actually uses all my class skills, not even cross class, just my actual class skills, the bot seems to only use a few dps abilities and thats it, dosent use evasion cooldowns, dps cooldowns etc.

 

Try putting ultima in the routines folder instead.

 

Working atm but while i ride a mount my char always attack mob nearby as they are necessary to complete the quest but they aren't, how can i modified this please ?

 

If you want to force it to use skills you just have to put them into the Method for that Class/Job (probably in Combat or Combat Buffs). Most of the Class/Jobs use their DPS cooldowns, I'm currently working on the defensive cooldowns.

Technically the lvl 50 logic could be used all the way to 60 for the existing classes (minus a few changes Square Enix has made). So besides a few small tweaks to them, I'll probably turn my attention to the 3 new Jobs and try to get something basic setup ASAP (so that they can at least be AFK leveled, even if it won't be the proper DPS rotation for a while).

UltimaCR should be inside of Routines, like so:

See above. Below level 30 it might not use every DPS cooldown available, but above 30 it should use every DPS cooldown properly. Defensive cooldowns are still being worked on.

It sounds like you're describing where you'll be running to something (hotspot/fate) and the bot will turn around and start fighting something that targeted you? That's a botbase thing (they choose what we target). As of right now there's nothing that can be done about that (until the botbases are fleshed out more).

Sorry for being inactive lately. I haven't played the game in months so I had to do the entire Dreams of Ice and Before the Fall quest lines (I'm still not done with Before the Fall). I need to get them done so I can unlock the new Jobs ASAP and start development on them.

hi all what is the best class for this routine, is ninja any good? if not is brad better? Im mixed between the two, not sure what to use they both look cool.

 

For ninja it does not cast Suiton. Here is the short log i did probably wont get much from it tho.
It cast's Raiton instead of Suiton. Only had suition go off once so far.

 

Any eta for machinist routine ?
