Hey everyone! I just came back to FF14 with the release of the expansion and my profs are well behind where they need to be, aka in the low teens. I was looking at purchasing RebornBuddy as I had great success with HonorBuddy in the past with WOW but would love some input. - Is it/Will it be updated for the expansions official launch on the 23rd - Are there good supported profiles for farming materials to boost Crafting (ie Mining and Botanist) - Are there good supported combat-routines that allow you to automate combat but control movement/CDs - Any other perks you've found very useful in your gaming Thanks in advance to the community members able to assist!
First, welcome back to the game! It's missed you, I'm sure! mastahg is currently trying to fix the many issues that arose with the expansion changes. While anyone here would love to see a full, official, non-Beta release tomorrow after Heavensward goes live "officially," it's not expected to meet that deadline, at least if I'm going to speculate. Right now, if you were to purchase RebornBuddy (RB), you will only be able to use Combat Assist (you control movement while RB controls your rotation) until mastahg pushes an official release after he's made the appropriate changes to support all the new shinies the expansion has brought for us. There are lots of profiles already in existence for gathering/fishing/grinding and you're welcome to use any of our existing profiles, modify them and use them for your needs; or, you're welcome to drop a request by my material grinding topic here: [Order Bot] Material Grinds - Requests Welcome! NOTE: I'm currently working on my Heavensward questing (Order Bot) profile, but plan on getting back to requests in the above topic ASAP. There are a limited amount of community developer combat routines (CRs) at this time, but the ones that are still being supported (and some that are being newly developed) are undergoing changes for the new rotations/classes. Ultima is my preference currently and is working with the current Beta release with Combat Assist. There are a number of other perks that currently exist and others that will likely come in the future. I'll be trying to push lots of profiles as soon as I can, but with my already limited time, it won't be as fast as I'd prefer. Lisbeth is something I've yet to dive into, but I'm certainly looking forward to using it finally... (sorry Neverdyne, I've been busy and my crafting classes are all <15! ) I haven't had time to get much use out of a number of the other plugins/botbases/profiles out there, but there's definitely a number of things even I need to try out still.
