[Lisbeth] Your own personal crafter!

Remember guys, at this point I am not supporting this version of Lisbeth anymore. I'm currently working on the next version but it'll take a while still. I'm finishing the next Agil version first, which should take me this weekend, and then it's Lisbeth plus a new project (Dragoon specialized combat assist for raiding). I'll try make good progress this week.

 

I want to make like Neo and load C programming into my brain. Anyone have a mod for that? The new craft.cs broke mine as well .. but it crashed all of RB otherwise. This is my favorite, thanks for your work Neverdyne.

 

Hey all,

Is there anyway of editing Lisbeths crafting recipes? I've been leveling Blacksmith and as I've started to try and make Iron Pickaxes, Lisbeth is asking for Cotton Bolls to be able to start crafting?

Iron Axe requires; Fire Shard, Earth Shard, Iron Ingot, Undyed Cotton Cloth, Ash Lumber.

Any help of guidance would be brilliant!

 

You sure it's not asking for cotton bolls because you don't have any undyed Cotton cloth on you ? (it'll make the cloth if you give it bolls.. or it will just craft if you have undyed cotton cloth on you) or should.. get back if it still doesn't work

 

I'm currently carrying 99 Undyed Cotton Cloth. ;____;

Lizbeth hates me!

 

I just tried, double check your spelling and that it's not some other undyed cloth XD

The order was made using Lizbeth Helper.

Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

 

Make sure the Undyed is in your inventory, not on a retainer; Lisbeth 1.0 does not recognize retainer inventories.

Did you rename the Lisbeth directory? I used to get this when comparing versions and renaming root directories.

I've just done a fresh install of RB, and im still having issues. xD

 

No I'm stupid, I've named the directory "Lizbeth" instead of "Lisbeth".

 

biggest hassle is really the new progress/quality level modifiers, and ingenuity modifiers, there's zero sense to them, SE just chooses arbitrary values so you need to test each one.

 

holy shit, really? And here I thought they couldn't get more retarded.

 

Their mistake was making the recipe level of things go 55..70..90..110 , if they just kept 55 , 56, 57, 58 (4 star) , and ingenuity2 lower recipe level by 5 levels, ingenuity 1 by 3 things would be easy, for them to code and for us to code, and more logical to the player and the strategies would change by very little if they changed at all.

But right now... from limited testing I can see them doing random shit there might be a pattern behind it, but it's not consistent with vanilla.

You're level 50 crafting recipe level 115 OR 120 (same thing somehow, go figure), you get a huge penalty (1%~ harder than i110), the moment you hit 51 and craft a 115 you get a BONUS not a penalty on progress, but you get a PENALTY for quality (very very small one), something that never occured pre-heavensward, it used to be any recipe lower than your level would give you a bonus for progress and nothing for quality, but now recipe is 115 you're 51-60 and you're still getting a bonus on progress.

Doesn't seem like the changed the curves for either progress(it's not linear) or quality because fixing level penalty makes everything work again.

 

yeah that seems needlessly complicated. Kind of like how they have unspoiled nodes for shit you need to start crafting level 51 items. yeah, that makes sense. ><

 

So...I've got some weirdness going on. Trying to grind out some crafting mats to get my final crafters to 50, and yesterday Lisbeth was working perfectly. Now she initiates the craft and just...stops. Nothing. Doesn't even attempt to cast anything. Log is attached.
