[RedFaction] Questing 60-70

Nice. Yeah, was easy enough to do manually, but figured it shouldn't be hard to fix in the profile either. Quick work .

Pulling 150k p/h in heirloom gear from 63 onwards today so far. Although I just found a new problem as I sat down right now. 'Don't kill the Fat One', has kill 10 Boulderfist Invaders, which works fine, but it also has Unkor submits, which is one where you attack him till low health and then he turns green (and submits). The macro keeps trying to kill him even though he's green and gets stuck there. I found just stopping the macro, moving away from Unkor then restarting worked ok, he went back to killing the boulderfist invaders, but it did require manual intervention.

 

Hmmm never had a problem with that one. But I did fire off a double lava burst crit at him, so could of possibly overkilled him and the bot thinking he was dead. Not sure if anything can be done about that one, but long as it classes as quest completed, it should blacklist him after a set time if we stay locked on him when he's friendly.

 

Ok, maybe I was too quick to reset it since I happenned to be watching at the time.

Another one. Its stuck atm at lvl 64 (almost 65) trying to pick up 'Proving your strength'. I assume this requires 65 to pick up. I've moved to to just below turning in the other quests it picks up at the same time (or in other words I moved the pickup and objective portions to immediately prior to where the turnin is in the profile. Hopefully by then I'll be 65 and can pick it up ok. Possibly worth having a grind at that point just to be sure we're 65 though.

 

Wow thank you for all of your help khurune and the "Magic of the Arakkoa" quest is the bird people one where it gets stuck on the hills that needs fixing

 

Also having nav issues doing Message in a Battle, runs to the wall just inside the cave and sits there. No doubt a mesh issue rather than profile, but might be able to remove the cave as a hotspot, since there are a number outside also.

 

No problem.

 

"He Called Himself Altruis..." - Requires lvl 66, I'm not even halfway through 65 yet. Removing it from mine for now.

 

Ok, just got done. Finished up a couple bubbles short of 66 using an Arms warrior in heirloom gear. Only 2 real issues were:

which khurune posted the fix for, and the one just above. I suspect the other issues I had HB would have sorted out eventually.

Started leveling a 60 arms warrior today, aside from the quest where you gather x8 metal/wood scraps (advised to handlevel, which I did), this profile is running great.

2.5 levels already in ~4.5 hrs.

 

Bout to start Nagrand now. Liferose has told me about fair few issues there. So gonna see what I can do with it. I'll look into that issue and see what I get, as I should get the same due running only this profile from 58 with no pvp/instances ect..

Remembered, there was this one too. I checked wowhead, and yes it requires level 65 to pick up. I was only a bubble or so off levelling, so maybe most others don't hit this. Also moving it as I did worked a treat, since its a collection quest, and I actually collected all the warbeads I needed doing the other ones, so I could pick it up and turn it in immediately without needing to go farm again, but still could be worth doing something more certain about it.

 

If you had to skip a few of the earlier quests because of there issues, or have kill between hotspots off, you will run into that problem.

 

Yeah, I had 'kill between hotspots' turned off, but I thought people had problems when it was turned on.

Just had a look, can't see where I read that, so maybe I got confused with a different profile. If I'd had that turned on, would probably not have had the issue with 'Proving your strength'.

 

So what lvl does it work till?

 

If your starting it from 58, it'll grind to 60 then start questing. Currently gets you to atleast 66. Am still working on it. Gonna see if i can motivate myself to add some more quests to take it to 67, then a 67+ will be added to finish you of to 68/69 hopefuly. Well thats the plan.

Just finished these fixes this morning and noticed you even posted a profile.

(Which is one of my pet peves)
Eh..

Added appropriate credits + changed main release.

 

My pet peves are people releasing broken untested profiles, and leaving them as a WiP, let alone posting loads that all they've done is added 2 vendors and a few mail boxes.
