Typhonus - A Cyclone Routine

Just an FYI, i see where i messed up the settings.

In the guide you say Cyclone Attack Range and in the actual GUI Settings it says Cyclone Range.

Edit: Attached settings pic of what I was using last night. even still with a cyclone attack range of 4 it should leap slam into most packs.

 

Yes it still leap slams the problem is that it leap slams too often with those settings.

 

I'll try it out some more with those settings and let you know how its going.

 

Been using for a couple of hours, I could use some recommended settings if you have increased range from the passive and a 20Q Cyclone gem.

So far:
-the leap slam problem
-could use some movement improvements
-does weird stuff when opening lockboxes (when the mobs spawn) (he gets "stuck" and stands still)

He is clearing dried lake pretty quickly so I'm not complaining.

*yeah, those box-events are a complete disaster, no idea if that is a routine or a bot problem.

 

The bot has no logic for combat at all, so it's all in the Routine you're using.

Also, are you sure you're not just being stun locked for frozen from the strongboxes?

I tested OldRoutine with Cyclone (lvl 1) for all skill slots. It handled the first Strongbox I ran into just fine. The area you're trying to bot would matter as well. A skill like Cyclone that cares about precise terrain checks works better in large open areas whereas if you tried running it in smaller closed areas, you might see more issues. I just did one run of Kaom's Stronghold and only saw it get stuck for a few seconds trying to attack a totem that was up against a pillar. There was another mob around that the CR switched to so it wasn't perm stuck.

Routine wise, you don't ever want to use just 1 skill for everything, especially a skill like Cyclone that has a long history of having issues casting in the client. One thing that could be done (and this is easier in custom CRs than the default routine) is to keep track of how long you're trying to kill a mob with Cyclone, and if it's taking to long, switch to another skill.

 

Thanks for the advice, I'm quite sure my char was not frozen, it kinda goes like this:
-Walk to chest, activate chest, cyclone for a second, get stuck on chest and stand still till death.

I will try the adjusted oldroutine later today and report back

I'm using it right now and the settings are showing up, are you sure you didnt mess it somewhere else? Try a clean install of EB + Routine

 

i cant use this with cyclone discharge when it see a monster he wait for the monster to go near him

 

Anyone get blood rage to work with this?

 

I haven't put it in yet. I'll add it on the next update.


Next update is gonna be a big one in terms of features, only small improvements to cyclone usage though. I wish I knew how to cast it in some otherway to avoid the standing stills because it is targeting a place that cannot be cycloned, yet I've minimized a lot of these.

Next update will include :

- Weapon Swap to cull with offhand (Reapers Persuit Weapon). Also uses the Unique Rarity Flask. My suggestion is using an aura on your main weapon set so whenever you swap you have a lot of deltaMana so you can benefit from the flask duration.
- Ability to skip all monsters until Dominus. Still need to add some exceptions like Arcanist Strongboxes, Warbands, Inner Treasure, etc. All the good stuff you want to fight even though you want to skip trash.
- Cyclone Improvements.
- Blood Rage for those who want to use it.

 

still havent problem only with your routine, it makes barrels a priority over mobs so it will be click barrels while getting hit by mobs but then when i change back to default routine there is no issue

 

I don't understand whats causing this because there is 0 logic on my CC in terms of barrels. What I do notice sometimes when I use default routine is that the bot is stuck on barrels.

 

Is there any way to make Righteous Fire work with this? :x

I've been pondering to play a Cycloner for a while... but leveling to map is a PITA. I think I might give this a try Thx for the hard work.

It seems you're missing some files on the folder.

 

No, I had that issue too.. you have to make a folder called Typhonis and put the zip files in there manually. The zipped folder is a different name and throws errors.

 

bot doesent cast cyclone unless random targeting is enabled, anybody else having this problem
