Well, I believe the cata surge is starting to disappear, prices are falling hard on multiple realms I bot on.

Elementium ore now being 60g/stack is the most shocking.
Cinderbloom varies from 80-120g/stack right now.
Pyrite ore 180-200g/stack, titanium ore was worth more in wotlk lol.

How's it looking for everyone else??
      Post your prices! :)

it's due to a few things:

      Kids
      Kids who bot
stupid botters who want to get reported by players and other botters
stupid botters who don't want to make money

Yeah, I saw people undercutting by loads of gold and ruining the market, only takes a few, absolute fucking morons. Probably the same people who make a thread "gimme gold sites for money plz" every 2 days.

      supply and demand that's all

demand < supply so prices dip very hard. Furthermore price were crazy.

I have private buyers, so I sell Elementium ore for ~65g Obsidium for ~50.. Pyrit I sell in the AH for about 200g

Volatile stacks go for so sth between 1700g(volatile life) - 5500 (earth / water/ fire)

You're complaining with those prices!? My server has botters on every corner. The prices are even worse.

My server is only medium pop, and I'm on Alliance and it's like 5:1 horde-Alliance Ratio, so...our prices are still high. lol

      Whiptail- 180-250g
      Elementium Ore-120-170g
Haven't sold any Pyrite, saving it
      Azshara's Veil-130g
      Volatile Life-3-5g per
      Volatile Fire/Air 15-25g per
      Volatile Earth/Water 5-15g per

I dont bot too hardcore, usually only one character and not the whole day, but I've made about 80,000g since Cata began, and I was on vacation for over a week of that. I consider that good since I'm not selling any gold yet..though a long time guildy is interested in buying some today, so I'm really eager :)

I also have been using the vast majority of everything I'm farming. Used like 40k worth of herbs leveling a Scribe 1-525 in one day, and then probably spent like 25k in herbs for 450-525 Alchemy, and prospected god knows how much Obsidium Ore/Elementium Ore for JCing 440-525. and leather to help my guildy hit 525 to get my mains epics XD

I've found the best way to make money and draw less attention to yourself on the AH is to play the raider market. Healing pots, mana pots and flasks are at a premium on my server right now, and well worth having an alchemist to make them. As well as Truegold prices are still pretty high so its nice to be ontop of that.

Quick update, Prices did recover but are dipping harder now than ever before.
Some right clowns on my one realm, undercutting eachother like mad, have made elementium ore 80g a stack right down to 38g in 2 days, well done fellas, you're really pro.
Cinderbloom is still at 85-110g, rest is the same.
Elementium ore Is getting a good pounding right now across a lot of my realms, definitely the one going down a lot.

Edit: One realm particular is getting it's economy rapefucked by a pile of douches undercutting like mad in gold, everythings gone down like 70% in 2 days, what the hell???

Same here for me. Leather is still profitable, 150h a stack, but it takes longer to fill up. Time to cancel the bot accts for a few months, wait for the next raid tier to pick it up again methinks.

Could you please explain what this has to do with kids? I like how everything bad is influenced my kids. Because anyone who has gotten decent schooling. Knows that the prices drop because of greed. Let it be the greed to stack as much gold as possible as fast as possible or the greed to just make sure you are the one people buy from hence the insane undercutting. This how ever is far from age related. In fact this type of behaviour reflects on business people and they are usually not kids.

Ps: The prices dropping is nothing but logical so try not making threads about it.
Low demand + high supply = low prices because people want to get rid of their shit.

I don't think his comment has anything to do with anything tbh. Yea, supply & demand, not hard.
