Hopeful unban after last banwave

So... I was one of the people that got chewed up in that last major banwave. However, it said I only had a 6 month ban, which will take it to some point in November.

Who else is crossing their fingers in hopes that it really is just a 6 month, and not perma? I just have a weird paranoid feeling.

P.S. I still love everything about HB, and even tho it happened, I still will use it. GJ HB team

 

Definitely going to turn into a Perma ban if you continue to use HB on that same account. They're 100% going to have all of those accounts flagged and paying close attention to them once that 6 month ban is over.

 

I started a new account linked to the same bnet email. It lasted 1 month...the GM replied to the appeal saying "This account will remain closed, however you will be able to play on WoW1 once the 6 month ban has been removed." Needless to say I won't be reactivating that account, and regardless of what others say that's proof enough to me that all new accounts under the same bnet are not safe.

 

I hope this doesn't happen to me. I paid for a new account on my old btag....

 

I'm not gonna use that account for any botting on my botting rigs what so ever - but instead I'll use it for fun and personal use on my gaming pc. Call me paranoid but I don't want to put a flagged account together with my money makers

 

Nov 13 is the unban date ( i actually asked them, they are acting really nice towards the banwavers to....)

 

Of course they're acting nice, they're expecting you to buy the expansion and/or some gametime. I really doubt they'll be watching everyone when there's no money in a quick re-ban.

 

I feel ya there, my main account is also Due up in November. That is why I bought a second Account to Cover all my bases. Also changed the Name on the Account for a fake name, using bnet cards to Buy time. GG )

 

If so, that content could be very useful to us, any chance you could PM me that data? If it has too much personal info I understand, but seeing exactly what data they recorded would be quite interesting.

 

The information contained on these CD's was posted right after the banwaves. There's something like 400 pieces of data they track on you, and that's just personal data. That doesn't include all the networking data they keep on you. You have to pay to get the networking data.

 

Course they are, wow is down to like 5m subs now.

 

what are you guys using that get you ban? are you farming mats? or what are you doing ? I have only ever had 1 temp ban years ago and that was from farming mats. since then ive used HB almost 20hours aday "knocks on wood" but I don't farm mat. / AH anything I only quest / BG /dungeon / level and other stuff like that I use it to raid also with combat bot but I control movement and targeting and talk in chat

 

i was hit with the ban wave, i was raiding with guild. only using a combat bot

 

you sure someone just didn't report you?

but either way I hope for the best for you.. always like to hear possible WHY get banned to look out for other people

 

no one reported me. it was when the ban wave happened.

 

don't touch those accounts anymore, sell them and use the money to buy new.

 

its safe to buy accounts? im not sure about that. I seen its not safe as few months later they can open a hack case get their account back and sell it again then do it all over and rip the person off, i wanna keep my old account its my main im not botting on it anymore though
