Well came home from a friends house logged in normally and after about 5 minutes got booted ...tried to relog and got invalid password/username... that got me nervous. Tried loggin into my battlenet account and same message. I tried the account was possibly hacked and when I checked my email I got the following message: Account Action: 72 Hour SuspensionReason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Use of Third Party Automation Software This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a ""hack."". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game. 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? HB 1 Account 2)If so, when was the last time?: This afternoon 3)What profile were you using?: Captured Firefly 4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Shaman 5)What plugins are you using?: none 6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: I usually average about 2 hours bot time then go run and hand in any of the kill quests I had do my dailies log out for a bit... come back an hour or 2 later and do the same thing. Ive been unemployed and have too much time so I play alot...but was doin the same behavior before I started botting... play for 2-3 hours take a break for an hour or 2 and come back do the same thing on and off all day. 7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 4-6 per day... most of my characters mine/skin so I have always had a few auctions of resources up. I have an enchanter and all the magic stuff goes to him for disenchanting. 8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? nope 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? nope 10)EU or US realm? US Im a light botter and alot of the time Im there watching it...dont ask me, I just kinda likewatchin it like tv lol. Ive only been using it for about 3 weeks on and off. I think my botting days are over because I dont want my only account banned.
So you got invalid username and password? I thought in the main screen said that the account was suspended, clear and simple.
nope thought i mistyped something, the 3rd time I gigured somehow even with an authenticator I got hacked....so I called and was told 35 minute wait.... so went to log into my account settings and clicked for a compromised account and when I went to check my email I saw the 72 hour warning.... sigh
Nope it happened the same way for me. I logged in Tuesday to see if the maintenance was done then logged off. Played my main account. Came home for lunch tried to log in got the invalid user name password message. I first thought my account got hacked. Went to battle.net reset the passord but the next time I tried to log in it said Banned.

ouch...did you try to contact them to unban your account or they just decide to permaban you with no reason? Have you ever been suspended before?
Nope, didnt try to contact them, just figured I would wait it out, but after getting the notice its clearly a form letter because it mentions my email to them and there was none. My account was suspended twice and reinstated because my account got hacked and someone was spammin gold for sale on it... thats when I learned about getting an authenticator on my droid phone cause they said "oh spend 5 dollars for the thing that goes on your key chain and it will prevent bein hacked again... and I was like so i should spend more money because you ppl switched from useing a random username to my email address which is easier to find out" So I myself was never suspended. Ive thought of calling and giving a lame story about my son bein here visiting since xmas and was useing my account and he did it to see if they would just leave me with the 72 hour warning.... Im starting to think time for another game... or maybe just stop. The reason I bot is I hate grinding... it sucks. I just want to randomly play and just have a good time. Ive thought of just buying an account but lots of bs with that, I did it in a different game and the owner claimed it back 6 months later and I lost the 100 bucks I spent on it plus the time of leveling other toons on the account as I played.

I gave them a call and they said its only showing a 72hour ban and the guy asked me questions do I gather resources alot and I told him the how else can you mke money except gathering? (truth, honestly before I got HB I had a worgen feral druid and since about level 20 I had on average a 100 auctions of leather and ore on the AH at all times) He said his friends dad who is disabled every morning gathered ore for 4 hours and he got the ban message... so it is possible they arent seeing HB, just seeing lots of auctions and mail going back and forth... well the guy said he would put an email in to get it reinstated... well cant hurt to see what happens. I think Im gonna make a 10 day trial account cause Im bored.... can only send out so many resume's sigh...
I botted in Uldar 20+ hours a day got a 72. My email said somthing along the lines as wtf?? They emailed me a few hours latter unbanning me.
