[Order Bot] Fishing (Leveling 1-60)

The issue is not at line 232, it is the 500+ line that causes the null reference error. Most likely the graph table is not correct and doesn't contain the zone or the connection to the zone you require.

 

i noticed, problem where there are more than 1 bait in inventory, bot is stuck switching between all bait and can't chose the appropriate one.

 

I made some modifications to ease back on the speed of the bait delay in the most recent update I made. And also more logging information so if you do need assistance with it, It will be much easier for me to help you.

 

I'm stuck at lvl58. The profile tries to fish in the churning mists, but says: You can sense something swimming below, but are uncertain of how to go about catching it.

No idea what to do now :O

Edit: Going to see if after downloading your entire profile folder will fix it. will post if that sorts it or not.

Edit 2: Working now, weird that i had to download your entire folder, so must've been something with the old zip files where something was missing.

Edit 3: Still a small problem with the profile, keep trying to set bait and won't start fishing, just loops the opening of bait and fails chosing bait.

I'm currently in the 20's range. An issue I'm noticing is that the character will fish (Fishing 26 time until moving) to paraphrase the log entry and then after it catches 26, it tends to just stand there in fishing pose like where youd have to physically step forward to have it put the fishing rod away.

It isn't putting the rod away and moving to being catching x of x. It's just standing there like an idiot with his hands up. Am I doing something wrong that he isn't moving along? The profile's been easy enough to manage, but I don't love that if I don't babysit it, he may just stand there like an idiot looking very suspicious and wasting precious time on a gathering xp action as well as food, etc.

Also, on these fishing profiles, it seems like 3/4 of the time the character will port to the aetherite and just run on foot across a zone rather than mounting up. Not sure what that's about.

None of this is the end of the world and I'll live with it if I have to, but is there a simple fix to be done or something I'm doing wrong to change that would improve quality of life while using the profiles?

 

A quick suggestion: this profile is only for 50-60, so in the future, please post in the topic for the specific profile you're using for the best support, as it can limit the questions/investigating that may need to be done.

I haven't experienced this issue in a long time. Are you using the latest version of ExBuddy, or an old Fish.cs tag?

This likely has to do with stopping the profile early, before an "EnableMount" CodeChunk is being run. In my profiles, when stealth is used, I typically run a "DisableMount" CodeChunk when it arrives at the location and an "EnableMount" when the Fish tag is completed.

I doubt you're doing anything wrong, but if you're stopping the profile early, you could be preventing the profile from re-enabling mounting - not a big issue, just something to be aware of.

I have identified a bug with mount setting in exfish. =(. I will fix it first thing when i get back to development.

 

This profile was working beautifully for me until today after I updated RBB itself. I've cleanly reinstalled RBB and the directories needed for this profile. I just can't figure this one out, and I'm not sure if it's related to the update. If I try to run the profile it just crashes RBB. Help as always is much appreciated^^

Thanks for the gentle hint ExMatt. That was probably the one phrase I didn't search of all the things -_- It's all fixed now, and I feel dumb. Good thing I'm not a dog person.
