I don't think OCR version will come back since the Beta version looks to have more possibilities and looks to be more stable also.
The BETA is now the stable version. The OCR got patched out by Blizzard so support for it has finally ended. Just create a support thread so that the community can help you get it working.
crap..... Thanks for the tip. I have only used it a few times with the new update. hopefully a few times wasn't enough to get caught.
No one will get caught by using the old ORC-Bot, dont make the peoples crazy. We stop support the ORC because, SB Beta > ORC right now, so we dont need to work on 2 bot-bases and get more time for SB Beta.
Could we get a download link to the latest version of the OCR bot? If it currently works for the latest patch it would be nice to have that as a backup. Considering that one never/rarely crashed for me.

The one Aprosule posted is the same one I have been running for this latest patch.. I do agree that you should never use an "unsupported bot" However I also feel that given the fact that its an OCR bot the chance of getting caught is very minimal due to zero code injections... If the guy who wrote the damn bot says its "safe" then I will chance it. However, Aprosule's method takes no chances and is a good rule to follow. And I would have agreed if these particular circumstances did not apply. Side note to Flumi: I would rather use a less functional OCR to mine gold in exchange for the "better protection" that I perceive it to have, but at the end of the day Ive never programmed a bot and my assumptions may be misguided.
OCR-Bot is out of date since the last two patches, it is not use-able anymore. So what the hell you are talking about ? Stormbuddy Beta is undetectable since release, every patch we check about new things. You have the same risk like with the OCR-Bot, if someone want to play really save, dont bot.
It soounds like people are either in fact Using the CR bot still. or are confusing it with the new the Alpha / Beta
Yea, I have been slightly confused about all this. I have been using "Stormbuddy 1.0.525.127" (the one that moves your mouse and requires the game to be always on top) WITH the latest patch that includes artanis. It only crashed once. occasionally the guy will click on himself for a long time but all in all it works.. starts new games and everything. Am I missing anything? P.S. One time it did kill the program, and when I logged in the shop was full of some sort of dummy item and I couldnt see any of my heros, but that was probably due to the crash.
