Has anyone experienced any issues with using the bot for the CR in a BG but manually moving and acting like a normal player? I see a lot of BG 72h bans lately and I still want to run BGs but afraid of even stepping foot into them with all the current bans. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.
Why don't you play by hand? If a CR is all you need, it's not really a great loss... Unless you don't know how to play your character, that is...
In all fairness not everyone has the reflexes, coordination, or awareness to respond to procs and CDs. On top of that not everyone is fortunate enough to own a Razer device with macros so that they don't have to sit there and pound the same key to death, every time they have to cast a spell, just to wind up with zero downtime on spell casting. Asking why someone doesn't play by hand on the HB forum is also sort of a moot point in my opinion. If Blizzard is going to flag HB users they're going to flag them for various reasons. I'll tell you now that users get flagged for way more than just "the way you move".
I got to the point in my Blizzard experience I couldnt compete with the reflexes of some players (back in Wrath, perhaps botters) and when I found HB I then didnt have to invest soo much into a game that was begining to frustrate me, and besides I found alot of enjoyment just experiencing content without being bashed about beig 3rd in DPS in a 5 man dungeon or raid. I now can tank heal or whatever in any situation and spend 1 hour a night fooling around while my wife does the dishes and before the hockey game comes on.
Don't get me wrong mate. I understand when people bot because they have little time to play and don't want to use their already scarse time to fish, or do archeology, or farm ores, or herbs, or even farm honor and such. Heck, i even understand when people use it to get rich and buy mounts and whatnot. You leave the bot playing, and go do something else. Play with the dog, study, get some sleep, whatever. Then you come back and can do the things you enjoy in the game. I really understand that. The poster though, said he was going to control all movement of his character. Just wants a CR bot. Now you tell me, with all the bans going on, if you're going to spend ALL the time controlling your own char, is it smart to use a bot just to do the rotation for you? Think about it, you're not gaining nothing by it, nothing but the right to brag about topping the meter and calling every1 else a n00b. Also, who said you have to own Razer devices to be a decent player? I happen to own a Razer Naga and a Razer Nostromo, but guess what? There's people around me who are using a 5$ mouse and can pw0n me... Does a Razer helps? Oh yes! I'm a much better player now (using my naga) than i was before. Is it mandatory to be able to perform decently? No. As i'm sorry for being blunt poster, but if you were 3rd on dps on dungeons and weren't able to tank or heal or whatever, maybe you should go and learn to do that. The time and effort you put into finding HB, installing and operating is prolly bigger than what you would loose to learn to play a hunter or a resto druid. Bottom point is: imo there are reasons and reasons to bot. Botting just so you can be on top os dps chart and feel superior to others is just lame. If you can't play your class, then you're not a WoW player at all. PS: no, i'm not a "angel" player just here to bash you, straight from the WoW forums. I botted and i'm banned like 99% of the people here.
