Important Notice about Cataclysm raid profiles

Cataclysm raids vary greatly in their difficulty. Not all classes can clear all raids and especially classes without self-healing capabilities will have a tough time in some of them. I also did not put my typical "100% AFK" disclaimer on the Cataclysm products, because weak characters will die in certain places and you should be there to either help that character out or switch to a more suitable character. Most classes will be good once they have Tanaan gear (item level 650+). Some classes can do it easily with worse gear and some classes will be unable to do it with even better gear.

Please watch each of your characters at least during the first run to see if everything goes smoothly. AFK-Botting is always a risk. Please also note that I intend to maintain my profiles during the Legion expansion. At level 110 these raids should be a lot easier for you to bot and by then the cataclysm profiles will be even more viable and more classes will be able to easily finish them. If you refund, because some of your characters can't beat a certain raid, you will also not be able to repurchase this profile once Legion is out and your characters could do it more easily.

Custom Raid and Loot Configuration

• Uses the free Studio Companion plugin to give you an amazing profile experience
• Picks the shortest travel route to the raid by considering over 150 possible travel options tailored to your character
• Comes with a startup loot configuration depending on your class and professions
• Lets you decide for each individual item what you want to do with it
• Lets you disenchant/destroy items while in the dungeon to save inventory space
• Lets you put items on a watch list and notifies you with a fanfare when it drops
• Displays item tooltips and offers Wowhead links for all raid loot
• Provides custom options for the raid

Additional Information

• These profiles are restricted to characters on level 100
• Some classes will have more trouble than others. Selfheals for example can be an important factor on some fights
  (Mages for example just have a tough time when soloing challenging raids).

Tips

• Use the QuestBot, because ... well these profiles need it.
• Have enough free bag space. There is a lot of loot waiting for you.
• My products are developed using the standard Singular Combat Routine. Using other combat routines might cause issues.

Does this profile really do Spine of Deathwing and Madness of Deathwing?

Yes, it does. Otherwise I would have advertised it differently. There are however classes that will have a hard time. Just give it a shot and see if you have the gear for the difficulty you want to run.

Any class-specific advice or requirements for the raid?

Deathknights

Don't spec into the level 100 talent Necrotic Plague. You will kill the Amalgamations by accident.
I will build a talent manager into Studio Companion soon to adjust these things automatically, but for now you need to take care of this yourself.

If you can, then go for frost spec. Blood tends to have not enough burst DPS for Ultraxion with Singular

Hunters

The level 75 talent Blink Strikes can cause Warmaster Blackhorn to despawn when the pet teleports to him into the air.

Mages

I give no guarantees for this raid when it comes to mages. The lack of self-heal makes some encounters pretty damn hard, luck-dependent or outright impossible.

Monks

Specc into "Chi Wave" (Level 30 Talent) and "Healing Elixirs" (Level 75 Talent) to make Spine easier.

Rogues

Consider speccing into Shuriken Toss. It helps so much on certain encounters.

I wanted to continue my last LFR run, but the bot started from the beginning again. Why?

If you do Dragon Soul on Normal or Heroic, you get a raid id and we can use that to determine which bosses you have available. The Looking for raid difficulty does not have such a raid id. That means in LFR we have no way to determine which bosses have been killed already apart from walking to them and looking for ourselves. A Looking for Raid run will never show up as a completed in Studio Planner either and if you add it to a run the bot will do Dragon Soul LFR every time you start that run. I added the LFR version only to make the profile complete. If you want some Transmog gear from that difficulty you can go for it, but I would suggest running it on 10 HC if you are in for the mounts or 25 HC if you are also in for the gold.

I do have a few beta testers, yes. However with unpublished products you can't have more than 10 testers on any product. I move on November 1st to my new place, but I will probably add more testers in early November. If you are interested, feel free to shoot me a PM. You just need Skype and enough 100 characters to be able to test.

Heres a log that it doesn't kill the dragon boss correctly for some odd reason.

I do require a bit more information. What does that mean "not correctly"?

I see you are a guardian druid. If you die to Hour of Twilight then it is a DPS issue and you should consider going feral. The fact that your corpse run did not work however is because you stopped and then started the bot. If you start the bot while you are dead, the custom "death behavior" does not kick in, because HB takes over before that and tries to do it yourself. Sadly HB does not know how to enter (most) dungeons so it fails. To me it looks like he is fighting Ultraxion just fine, but Ultraxion kills you. Maybe the guardian DPS of singular is that bad.

I do however see one behavior malfunction in one of your boss kill attempts. It should not be the cause of your death, but I will check it out.

Been trying DS10 HC on my hunter, and it keeps failing on spine due to killing the mobs that are supposed to explode.
It just kills everything until I'm dead due to debuffs.

Every other encounter works fine.

 

It is hard to do support without a proper log. If my suggestion does not help, please provide your unabridged log (Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log)

And here is my guess:

1. Your item level is so high that your pet while trying to get aggro from mobs, kill the amalgamation
2. You are using a pet that has some kind of AOE attack
3. You are using either a talent or a trinket that adds AOE to your attacks (e.g. Explosive Ammo or something like that)

Any "random" AOE can screw with this encounter. Please check your talents for it. Maybe try switching specs. I completed DS 25HC successfully with Beastmastery and Survival. Marksmanship I only did on 10HC. I would also highly recommend using Spirit Bond as a talent.

 

You are most likely right regarding the high level that the pet was trying to take aggro.

I did it manually, and then it went fine.

I'm going to try it without a pet the next time, to see if it will go better.

I did it once after on my rogue, and it went perfect, so it seems like it's a pet issue for sure.

 

You might have stumbled upon a bug though. The pet is supposed to "Growl" and then directly go back to being passive.
Try to see if the pet keeps fighting should you try again. If so, there is a bug I need to fix.
