Hey guys, as u all know since 4.0 credit farming droped Drasticaly.
But beside that prices are going down extremly fast.

One Site wich i used to sell to him preaty fair told me today that he buy 1 mil on Us servers for 0.8$/mil .

My question is how the hell is this even possibile? Back in the day when the bot used to farm 2-3 mil per day price never droped under 1.8$/mil, and now with the nerf is going even lower rather than higher?
If anyone have some insight i will verry much want to read them
Apologies for my english not a native.

I hope the release of StarWars Battlefront & Fallout 4 last week had to do something with the price and that eventually it will go up. There is less players in the game. And that guy with that low price is probably very greedy... He is lowering the price as the company doesn't get many orders this days and he still wants to make same money thats why he takes bigger cut for himself (70%) and probably for the botters (30%). 2-3mil per day back in the day is very low also.

There's a big exploit going on. the demand is still there, so the demand didn't caused the drop in price.
the supply from exploit > demand = hence the crappy prices ( + botters are trying to match the exploiters price = the price keeps going down) ... but with swtor and their fixes... this might take a few months to get fixed and if they won't confiscate the stockpile of exploited credits the swtor rmt will be screwed for good.

It must be an exploit how fast the price is crashing, I have no idea if there is one though. New sellers popping up everywhere selling for dumping prices.

There is no exploit, the game is just dead. People stockpiled a lot of credits thinking the price would skyrocket due to the bot being down for a while + the new expansion release demand. Even though they reduced the amount of credits mobs dropped it doesn't really matter since people just added more bots.

This expansion is just pure garbage, Bioware removed a huge credit sink when they removed companion gear. They also made the game brain dead easy and boring so people are less likely to buy to improve their characters. They added hardly any new content and people are just playing for a few days and leaving. It wasn't even 3 weeks since release and all servers were at light/standard during prime time on the weekend. It also doesn't help that there has been a ton of other major game releases.

I doubt people stockpiled their credits for the expansion or added more bots at this kind of times. Hard to farm, sell and low prices. I usually add more bots if everything is ok and stable to get more profit not to sustain the same or even lower profit. They also added a new credit sink with companion gifts and influence levels. Heard people spending dozen of millions just to get this maxed out.

      2 words , dead game.
There is nothing to do atm in swtor, nothing new, they also broke pvp with lower dmg but more hp, in pve there is nothing new, so pple are leaving for other things to play.

I am with bw from the start and in all the years game never died so fast after an expansion.

What? People always stockpile currency for all MMOs for when expansions release because most of the time you end up with a big pay day. I've personally added bots and I seen some other botters in game add a lot as well. The influence credit sink isn't really that much of a sink. First of all there really is no need to even get high influence levels as you don't really gain anything. Even then once you get to max influence that is the end of it vs always keeping your companions in top gear.

Yep the focus on story and dumbing down some other things is to blame. I always find it funny when people always think there is an exploit once prices go down. In this case the health of the game and the need to buy credits severely dropped.

Yea, this too. It has been going on for years but now since there is a lower demand it has a higher impact. They can also get even more credits now due to high demand items like lvl 60 token.

you need 3 bots on same spot now to make same amount credits like before dont think anyone will put new bots for 1,3 dolars per day with this market atm

That sounds like a lot of work and selling on GTN. They used to scam with stolen credit cards and buy credits directly from websites. Then sell them back and issue a refund. They made double or more profits with it. Happened to me couple of time few years back. But price didn't drop.

yes 3 bots on same spot to get same credits. but you need 6 bots on same spot to get same $ :/

I heard people want that influence maxed specially crafters. A lot of companion gifts were sold via vendors and GTN in 4.0.

ye i mean dont think boters will put more bots becouse drop is nerfed atleast not me for 1 bot 1.3 1.4$ per day :)

on my server where i play only dark blue gifts are between 40-100k i have 1 companion lvl 50 maybe cost me 10 milions but i did till 35 36 from Alliance specialists weeklies

Each influence rank give the following bonuses.

      +50 Presence
+1.5% time efficiency for crew skill tasks
+0.5% critical rate for crew skill tasks

Which means a influence rank 50 companion will have 2500 presence, 75% time efficiency for crew skill tasks and 25% critical rate for crew skill tasks. SO yeah crafters need but only lvl 6

Credit duping exploit going on since the drop of 4.0.

If you macro recorder it right you can do about 6 million in an five mins with a lot of manual intervention.

The game is also getting pretty stale with the lack of new PVE/PVP content and the post-expansion release crash. We all knew the episodic story stuff wasn't going to be able to carry the game for very long with all of the recycled content that it had.
