I too face this situation...This is what you must do ,since HB insist on staying in the bad lands @ 44
Go into HB and turn off the "Use Mount" feature so that as your character is running through,he/she only attracts only one to two mobs at a time,due to the fact that your character is walking,not riding at 100% speed.

Even though I don't understand why she's there,my Character is doing quite alright walking slowly into one mob at a time...I just hopes she gets back to EPL once she hits 45....Sheesh!

 

This one of those few quest where you actually have to help HB out a bit,and manually look around for the Assassin,while the HB is still on,or else it'll just sit in one spot. (b.t.w the Assassin is at the very top of the tower )

Hi i am currently reviewing your "quester" and unfortunately, so far, i havnt seen much of the "quest" part in at all, it is mainly grinding, however i am only level 14 and hoping to see a much better improvement as i level up, as grinding at higher levels takes a while. I have had to grind at level 4-6,6-8,10-12,13-14 and 14-15.
There is also a bug i have found, on the quest ?Dungar Longdrink? , it gets stuck at the SW flight master as its trying to get the flight path, however SW flight path for Humans is already found, therefore i had to finish and start the next quest by hand.
If i finish your "questing" profile, i shall put up a succsess story for you and you can read into the problems i have found with it.
but so far all in all i am happy with it, except the whole load of grinding since its suppost to be questing

 

That is pretty bad :/ you can level to 40 in less than 24h on most profiles and yourself

 

there is alot more that is needed to be known, did he go and gear the character up? did he stop it and leave it afk here and there? if/when trained did he do it or did hb? alot to take into consideration.

Many, many thanks to Killakaz for writing this questing profile without SubProfiles! It was due to this design, that the IgnoreCheckpoints thing is even possible. Heirloom-geared and max-level toons will appreciate this immensely.

Thanks, I had no idea, but I don't mind changing individual checkpoints. The area this profile quests is a little lower level because some of the quest collection areas are in mobbier areas. And sometimes the profile does indeed grind on sufficient level mobs, so it's unnecessary to completely ignore checkpoints.

By adding that to the profile, does it completely get rid of grinding in the profile altogether? That would be undesired for my uses.


Also a side question:
On any quest that requires looting an object, or picking up an object, the bot will just stand in front of the object, but it won't interact with it to pick it up.

Is there an option I need to enable?

Just a tip, you can edit the file, all you need to do is remove the line of code. That's what I did and it fixed it.

There's an issue with "Like Rats" in EPL. The quest is to kill the boss in the cathedral, and the bot runs straight for him. Upon initiating the fight the other mobs in the cathedral attack. The bot needs to clear out the room before attacking, so I just hand-quested this one, but definitely can't afk it.

Another: Righteous Indignation in EPL, quest to collect 30 eyes. 30 eyes collected, and not registered in the bot (just keeps farming the mobs)

Also, I am curious if it's possible to use this profile to queue AV + quest?

 

Yeah ...I think I'm done with this 1-60 profile,and since I don't see any other 1-60 questing profile,from anyone else (wierd) I'm gonna havta just grab one of those grinding profiles...

After hitting 45,my character is just sitting at a camp,needing to pick up "looking to the leadership" and after wondering why he's just sitting there,I look up the quest....it's in Outland!!!

 

Grinding is a tiny bit crap on this profile, it seems that my war isn't even pulling stuff when he's grinding, he just follows the pathing until he gets aggro.

Pretty bad pulling imo, asks for multiple mobs, and higher risk of death.. not to mention slower grinding, to run 100 yards to a mob when there's something in your 50 yard pull range is a bit silly. I should have mentioned this is at the "Grind to 45" in badlands on the Dustbellow Ogre mobs.

EDIT: Just saw the post on the previous page with several others complaining about the same thing. The "Grind to 45" mob targeting is completely broken, that's why people with their Mounts turned on are just running into mobs and then running into more mobs.

DOUBLE EDIT: So I went over the .xml file looking for how this particular grind spot is different from the rest, and I couldn't find any discrepancies except the <Factions> part, which I have no idea what it does. I was also considering the fact that HB was still on Quest Mode, and perhaps changing it to Grinding mode would have solved the problem, though this was never required in the past grinding areas. So if anyone is at this problem right now, give it a shot and let me know

 

wow really? search the profile for that quest name, remove the pickup tag. the author must have put this tag in while working on another profile as well. its an easy fix and the bot will go right back to work.

 

Wow surprised to see so many mixed reviews, questing is still in beta, and every release of hb they change or alter something which affects the profile so i'm constantly having to modify change review rework this to make it work as good as it can for use on a beta setting, i haven't seen many other 1-60 profiles that actually work at all, given it needs a little help here and there depending on the updates or changes to hb it still does work for 1-60. If you expect 1-60 questing to be afk then i'm sorry, if i was to try to make this totally afk i would have to rip out alot of quests and it would be 50/50 quest/grind, then maybe everyone would be happy, or better yet all of you that have issues try and make a 1-60 yourself, for all of you that continue to support and test my profile i thank you whole heatedly, and appreciate your efforts to help me make this profile work better for the community. and if you do not like this profile than there is no reason to leave a comment unless you have something to contribute.

Personally i think its a great profile , some parts are still eh glitchy but nothing a little sitting by the computer can do, keep it up regardless of all this blah talk. I think your profiles are a great help to this community. Guess people just expect everything to be perfect and non afk able considering thats why they prob bought it. Keep up the great work! Looking foward to more profiles!

 

Well when I tried it out on a prot pally with herb/mining enabled there was very little grind, the transition to WPL was pretty effortless also bc I only needed 2 bubbles of exp to make lvl 42 before I went swimming. Now at 45 there are more issues, HB issues also, but its also later in the profile and not as straightened out - as expected in a work in progress. A lot of probs can be overcome your self by looking at the profile in notepad and trying some tweaks.
Did experiment on another prot pally from lvl 3 last night - I gave this poor bastard nothing/no professions and just ran the profile, he was only lvl 15 after 8 hours & died 28 times lol. So bags/greens/food/professions all help the profile move along with less grinding imo.

Keep up your work KaZ, I do appreciate it and like learning more about how quest profiles work via troubleshooting.

 

Guys, it take 5 min to unbug it if it ever bug and so far from 1-49 it bugged 5 time for me, 4 thing i had to help him with and 1 i had to erase, yes the grind to 45 is broken......well not broken add right faction and it will attack them, just a bit of logic and to take 2 min to look inside the profile on need, you dont need to be coder to fix some misstype or mistake Kaz did , its 2000 line of code in this, sure there will be error, misstype and so far there is about none!

Now lets view this on an another side, open this profile in a bloc note and scroll down.....can you code such consuming thing yourself? and very complex at some part......most of you no, plz stop to bash on a darn excellent work Kaz did, its awesome and it will become even more awesome, just watch your bot and if it bug , open the file and use 2 min of logic you will figure it out yourself.

Note that most of the time you wont even need to open it, just stopping the bot, completing the step it having hard time will do it, press back start and dont skip any quest and all will go well.

I already mentioned how much I like this profile minus the few bugs. It's not the best afk profile, but it's really fast if you can be around the computer.

Maybe with our combined effort we can turn this into a 1-60 afk profile Another goal should be to add more quests. HB just grinded to 50 to do a few quests, not enough to hit 51, and then now the objective is to grind to level 52 ~_~
