For anyone who wants to support HB and have a chat with most of the community:

1. Download mIRC (Click here)
If you don't want to download anything you can use the webclient by clicking here





2. Type /Server irc.quakenet.org -j #Honorbuddy





3. Enjoy

What's the server and port? It defaults to 6667 but my droid won't connect to irc.quakenet.org;6667 and I've tried 4 different apps. Mirc connected just fine though but I'm not at home.

 

I'm there most of the time. Well while I'm awake at least.

 

Server: irc.quakenet.org
Port: 6667

I think the network your on are blocking the 6667 port.

Yeah, I think it's actually my provider. I've tried with the default 6668 port, which mirc uses, and it still doesn't connect. I've googled it and found that it's the US Verizon servers that are blocking the connection. They say that if you were to use the french, or other non united states, connection then you can connect. My phone connects when I'm at home, but it does so through my wireless router. So, if there's Wi-Fi available while I'm out I can connect, otherwise I can't.

While at home I can connect just fine through my PC.
