I just purchased this but i don't know how to open the config window. No matter what i click it doesn't show that window. Is there a shortcut key or anything ?

 

Did we ever get a resolution to stop the rotation from using RoF? I believe its still coded in to the Full AoE count.....can I take it out as its flat out useless!

 

if I may ask, why do you cast UA, when its already being applied by SB:SS? isnt it a dps loss if you double cast it?

here's my prepull (738 destro/affli lock) 25s pulltimer / precast soulburn at -20s / prepot int at -2s / precast haunt at 1.7s(1.1s cast +0.5s till reaches boss) / soulburn:soulswap / enable routine

 

Simple answer is most guilds aint gonna do 25 sec pull timer for their warlocks. Feel blessed yours does.

 

Hello, can somebody please share settings for Demonology ?

 

Is it possible to improve the targetting priorities? Focussing the bloods on killrogg and the infernals on manno is super important but demonic likes to keep focus on the boss.

 

RoF in AoE rotation should be used only if we are not specced for Charred remains, so yeah RoF should defo go from AoE rotation. In my opinion RoF should be used only when moving if we don't have anything better to cast.

UA has the least duration and it's the first one to refresh, if you cast it right after Haunt (that can have flight time up to 1.5 secs) and then cast SB:SS you will have max duration and you can spam Drain Soul for more deepz.
If you are on max range from boss on pull you can cast haunt on 2.5 secs since flight time will be over 1s so while it's flying you have time to cast UA and SB:SS is instant

I agree, they don't understand warlocks and they envy us

 

So you would like for Demonic to switch targets also? My gosh that means we would have to write our own DBM for demonic, calculate the raid setup and then predict if it's worth switching to that target or any other target because if for example 10 ppl would switch on it it would die in 2 seconds so main question is "To DoT or not to DoT"
Bloods on killrog are collateral damage of boomkins and one shots of hunters, so if you wanna switch to it why don't you click that blood? I'm sure you will see a major DPS decrease also. And then we will have another post "Why am I only doing 50 percentile"

Checked the code, there's a minimum delay where the target unit must have been casting for more than 600ms before considering for interrupting. It shouldn't be doing it instant.

Post a log file please. Sometimes occurs if the Calibri font family isn't installed on your machine.

Can you explain Afflictions drain soul feature? Like obviously <= Shards makes it turn on at 1 or less shards, but what about the time till death part, like how do the numbers factor in.

Also Destruction AoE settings seems bugged, in the sense that I have AoE at 4 but when 4+ mobs it still spams every other ability without using fire and brimstone

 

Do you think it would be possible to blacklist certain mobs/players from DoTs in the Affliction spec? Maybe add a toggle option on mouseover or something, shown in the overlay. In arenas spreading dots everywhere can be problematic due to Fear and many other types of CC breaking on damage. I feel as if this would greatly improve the functionality of the bot for PvP in general, as Affliction is the strongest PvP spec and spreading dots EVERYWHERE is fairly uncommon in high rated play.

 

Talking about "cancel cast -> drain soul" ?

It'll search for units where the TTD value is less than the setting value, so if that's set to 3, any unit where the routine thinks the mob will die within the next 3 seconds it'll cast DS on it. Setting it too low will restrict how many units it finds.

I like the idea. I'm not sure how easy that would be to actually code in, but the theory is neat. I'll have a look into it.

i had big problems keeping demonic up working after changing spec while in raid. lets say playing destro for HFA and want to change to affli for IR.

maybe this got fixed a while ago, i wasnt playing my lock for a while and thought about next twinkraid. thanks for reply in advance!

smth else: is there a updated post what settings to go with 6.3.2 at different bosses in HFC? i saw this for the priest CR and using it with good results!

 

You can change spec now without having to reload Honorbuddy. Got changed a little while back.

Settings; scroll up this page, there'll be a new system in the coming days to allow people to share settings with each other with ease. Nilrem posted some settings on page 1059 though that will help you out for now.

- [Demonology] Will no longer cancel Metamorphosis out of combat when bot is paused.
- [Destruction] Removed RoF on AoE high unit count - only casts on setting values now.
- Added Settings Manager - to allow individuals to upload/download categorised settings with ease. Credits to Wulf for the base code.
