[Request] Silverfish Ai update guide

Would be grate if someone could write a guide on how to update the Silverfish AI. The version found at the GitHub won't work out of the box: https://github.com/noHero123/silverfish

 

Doesn't it update when you download the new version of the bot ?

 

The bot should auto update it...

 

No, the version on the GitHub is way more advanced. Not only that the last update is 4 days old but if you compare for example the Movegenerator you can clearly see that the AI on the GitHub is putting much more thoughts into its moves: http://www.diff-online.com/view/5651c1245cf35

At the moment it seems like either obtkamer has to make a custom silverfish_HB.cs or noHero123 the programmer of the Silverfish AI has to update it. Currently he is only updating stuff for the hearthranger bot.

Follow the instructions,it works.
But how to use _mulligan.txt file now?

 

have not tested mulligan yet, but if it works (will test it soon) you have to put _mulligan (and combo if you have) into the data-folder (where _carddb.txt is located)

EDIT:

Unfortunately i now got the nullroutine error:

[AutoStop] Start
[Stats] Start
[NullRoutine] The NullRoutine should not be used. Please choose a different routine and Start the bot again.
[Stop] Now requesting the BotThread to stop.

Am I missing anything ?

Cleared Settings folder. Seems to be working now.

 

Mulligan desn't work now.But it works fine on the default settings of Hearthbuddy.

And the Discover Card desn't work now too.

 

@kevinyang225 mulligan works with latest version, and discovering should also work (maybe you loaded the first released version)

@Michauaa i changed the updating process: installing my version is now alot easier: just delete the old DefaultRoutine folder and replace it with the DefaultRoutine-folder in this zip-file

I just updated to this new version with the link you posted, and I want to know if I want to change settings/mulligan/combo of the AI, do I change them under the data folder ? because before this update I was changing the bot setting on the DefaultRoutine.txt instead. So which setting.txt is the AI using now ? DefaultRoutine_nH.txt or setting.txt under the data folder ???


* ALSO want to report a bug, I saw that the AI failed to discover a hero power when it played sir finley. are the discover cards not working ?

 

@buklau3150 everything is happening in the data-folder with my version!

can you please give me that log-file (see DefaultRoutine\Silverfish\Silverlog folder) and maybe the default HB log of that fight?

This is the game-log.
When the bot plays sir finley, it doesn't choose any power, but rather it struggles to press end turn, which doesn't work because it hasn't picked a choice yet.

*NEW BUG*
The bot failed to target an unearthed raptor deathrattle effect with another unearthed raptor from hand. It kept playing the card but then cancelling to target.

@bluklau3150 thanks for the bugreport, but your second one is not a bug! it would be a bug, if that raptor would be supported by my ai.. but it isnt yet.
