Mass bans

Just pulled this out of the EULA when setting back up one of my old accounts. We all take risks when botting. I got hit too. Just a reminder this is something we all agreed to with blizzard weather we read it or not. My biggest guess though is that it is not currently safe to bot and I would wait a bit until things settle down and the banwave passes and more information is available. My guess though is that blizzard found a way to detect and there is not much we can do since we all hit agree to be able to play in the first place. I do find it amusing that the 6month suspension ends right around when Legion comes out. Guess they do not want to miss out on all those sales. Just remember, if you care about the account, do not bot on it, cause these waves happen. See you all again in 6 months

Additionally, certain Games include a tool that will allow your computer system to forward information to Blizzard in the event that the Game crashes, including system and driver data, and consent to Blizzard being able to receive this data.

Banned 6 month too

 

I don't get what ram reading does...I would assume 99% of players have other programs up running at the same time or can they somehow see something else that would indicate to them your botting?

 

I don't think that is it. I play two accounts, and I've been leveling alts on my main account using kicks. I will actively play my second account while botting my primary account. I have only received a ban on the account I was botting on. If they were reading my memory or running applications then I would assume they would have banned both accounts. I have only botted on my second account once for about 8 hours since the last ban wave and so far it is ban free.

 

That's really odd. The buddy team will have to work really hard to get around this one.

 

Banned 6 months, starteds honorbuddy a while after 20 warsaw time

got 3 accounts all banned too which are less than a month old
one is 1.5 weeks old

 

I'm sorry, did Bossland force you to use HB? Fucking no, they didnt. You knew the risks going in, especially considering the last banwave so stop trying to pass blame off and grow up.

 

I have 10 accounts which I have not been playing in sometime. The one I did play and used bot to raid got the last 6 month ban. The account I used when that account was banned just received its own 6 month ban even though I have not played the game in a month. So whatever they are doing is not really a spur of the moment thing...

 

2 Accounts banned - 1 x 18 month 1 x 6 month Lucky I have 3 reserve accounts inactive

You cant put illegal in your TOS. And where i live its not legal. Thats the reason (i assume) bossland is winning against blizz.

 

Made the mistake of running a cr on my main account that got 6 months in the May wave. 6 months ended in Nov. Permabanned today. Fuck.....

Yeah, I'm not very familiar with the law, but I don't think it is legal for them to scan my computer and send information that is unrelated to their program back to them. That is an extreme breach of privacy and it does not matter if they add it to their TOS/EULA if it is not legal. Their TOS/EULA does not override the law. The one way they may be getting around the law is "RUNNING CONCURRENTLY". That indicates that the program is interacting with their game. It is a very gray area with privacy laws.

 

damn that totally sucks.... i got one of my 7 accounts perma banned last week... I had a strong feeling this was coming and nothing I could do about it. should have made a new account with no botting ever on it ( iwas thinking about it today) to move all my gold...... well FAIL. Lesson learned.... have one account that does nothing but hold materials and gold on whatever server I am playing

And really need to learn to play like the pros
