Who cares who all the guests are? What's to stop a blizz employee from buying a key and browsing these forums? And how does it hurt you to have random wow players that are so bored with the game they play and the forums they usual go to that they have to sit on a bot forum trying to find some juicy bit to take to the official forums? It doesn't hurt you at all, it doesn't concern you at all, so just let it be.

Blizzard can't afford 1 session of bot, make the forum private, everyone knows that.

a dynasty fall another rise ... that is a life long fact and
so if HB is back am back
for now i moved to another and might be more active on it tell HB gets more secure as i have an account that s active non touched by ban waves since may and still going but not on HB . but the main reson that i love HB is it has more options and flexibality than other bots in the market

This is exactly why I am of the belief this has been detectable for a long time. You don't think Blizzard bought these bots to use them and understand them? You're nuts if you don't think they did. The forums are here, and it's a crazy source of information as well, and anyone can see it, including Blizzard employees. I lost 2 accounts this time, both 18 month bans, and I'm fine with it. But how naive can people be?

Ryfto is a troll. Tells others who cares yet cares himself to tell others not to care about things he shouldnt care.
He is a casual botter who hardly bots and puts everyone down on these forums. If anything is said about him he whines to the mods and gets you banned or muted. He is a cancer to this community giving zero contributions and making noobs quit hb and look for other bots.

      Hi, Linnoel,

Anyone is free to report posts that break forum rules. And, the mods only take action with a ban or mute (or most of the time, just a warning) if the post has indeed broken the forum rules. If poster receives an infraction, the poster alone has earned it.

The mods strive VERY hard to apply the rules to everyone in an even-handed fashion. We've even been known to issue penalties to our Community Developers when forum rules are broken. Needless to say, this creates friction for people we greatly appreciate. But, the rules DO apply to everyone.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and most posts stand even if the opinion is sheer idiocy, outright bad information, or we simply don't agree with it. There are limits to this of course. For example, if bad information will harm our Community, we'll either correct it, or remove it--depending on the situation. Another example where we'll remove posts is baseless fear-mongering.

Please be very careful with your baseless and mis-informed accusations. We would argue that such activities are the actual cancer in the Community.

To wit, calling out another Community member is a violation of forum rules. Yet, we're letting your post stand as a teachable moment. The correct way to handle the situation is to report posts that actually violate forum rules (not that you don't agree with). Please do not break the rules again.

      cheers,
      chinajade

Sorry to hear that. Nothing like being part of the problem instead of the solution. Me? Not buying a one. I'd like to see their numbers crash farther but due to people like you they may just go up..

Almost everyone is entitled to their opinion perhaps. Certainly not here either way. I was banned for my opinion by you on this very site. I believe you called it "trolling." Evidently you didn't agree with my "opinion" on the matters. Iirc the mods here got in trouble by the boss man for doing just that in the recent past. No matter. People can behave any way they want towards others when the web affords them anonymity after all.

To the OP - go go non private forums. What do you expect? It's like darpa deciding to throw away the security guard at the door. Those looking for info or gossip would flood them. The flip side is.... Never mind a flip side doesn't exist. Perhaps more exposure for sales of keys at the trade off of users potential security and anonymity. Meh. Just my "opinion" after all.

Explain what security you think making the forums private will provide. Do you honestly believe that blizz wouldnt be on here anyways? Do you think all those guests that are on here are looking to learn all the secrets of how the bot works?

It's funny that you are claiming the forum mods are acting poorly because they're anonymous. Have you read your posts at all? You make it sound like HB, the forum mods and everyone else on these forums (including the random 300 guests) kicked your dog and you'll do anything to get revenge.
