They aren't adapting to changing times, nor are they doing any research.

      Let's see...

      2 banwaves in a 9 month period.
BG botters getting banned much quicker than usual.
General outcry from the wow playerbase about botting (much more prevalent than in the past).

I agree completely with Phelon on this matter. Some of the bans going out are too much of a coincidence for them to be strictly from user reports. I have no idea how they're doing it, or why they're not being more broad with the bannings if they can truly detect us, but something fishy is going on.

Either way, botting definitely does feel more risky at the moment...It's the main reason I've stopped using HB on my main account and have switched to other solutions for my automation needs...My secondary account still uses HB.

Keep in mind that I did not lose either of my currently active wow accounts with the last banwave and I had used HB every single day with both accounts. I have no idea why as I've never taken a single security precaution in the history of my HB use and if you've ever read any of my posts you'll know I firmly believe that none of the measures and schemes people come up with help in any way. And the amounts of bans that go out seems to back that statement up perfectly.

I guess it's just dumb luck.

Botting has always been the same risk. The majority of people from what i've been reading have been getting arrogant and botting stupid hours and stupid areas. Do a little research first and only bot the hours a normal person would keep.

After the second banwave i created 5 new accounts to test the new hb version after this. Different PC, VPN, etc. 2 Questing, 2 bg botting one with only CR / Enyo. (No Interrupt) The Bot with the CR was banned in few hours. The BG Bots after 1-2 Days. One quest bot after a hour and the second quest bot still exists. No one can tell it's only players reports or wrong settings. Up to the first wave of the banwave never had problems with HB.

Forgot the fact they still use ctm and x86 when x64 has been available for roughly 14 years ie before this game was a thought in a casual mmo players mind.

I hate to even answer to such an obviously troll-filled post...

Can you provide one shred of evidence that using CTM and x86 has lead to a single ban in wow? I'm 100% positive you can't.
