I got a 72 hour suspension for botting bgs. As soon as it expired I went back to farming honor and 5 wins later got 180 days suspension.

      email:
      Action(s) Taken:
      Account Suspended

      Violation: *****ing

Your fellow players reported you for *****ing. This includes actions like botting, and exploiting game mechanics.

      Suspension duration: 4,320.0 hour(s).

Due to these player reports, we have Suspended your World of Warcraft account.

As the owner of this account, you are responsible for all actions associated with it. We will only overturn penalties if there is evidence of a compromised account or similar extenuating circumstances.

If you understand this and still want to appeal our decision, please visit this article and submit a ticket.

I would like to appeal. Anyone got a story for me to tell?

      - Wow is my life, without i will kill myself (bit extreme but worked before)
      - I let my little brother play for a while (...)
      - Used VP*N or something? -> got hacked, don't know what happened
      - Broke my arm so had to play with one hand
      - ...

To be realistic, you fucked up and that's the bill. Seriously how can you start bg botting right after a suspension? I guess you can be glad, that the account even still exists...

I don't care that this account got banned. However I would still like to try to appeal with someone's advice on how to approach this matter.

DaSoul, don't post anything on this thread if you got nothing useful to say.

This email is from Dec banwave. As you can see it's quite different then what I received now and it gives me hope. It clearly states that support staff will not overturn this penalty. My most recent suspension is only because of player reports.

      Account Action: 6-Month Suspension

Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software

Blizzard Entertainment has suspended this World of Warcraft account after identifying the usage of bots or other ***** software.

These programs (commonly called *****s, bots, or hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of *****ing undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment.

The account holder is responsible for all activity on the account. We issue suspensions and closures to protect our players and our service in accordance with our Terms of Use: blizzard.com/company/about/termsofuse.html

Along with this suspension, we've removed some currencies and inventory associated with the account involved in this exploitive behavior. We don't take this decision lightly. Our team issued this suspension only after a careful review of relevant evidence. Our support staff will not overturn this penalty and may not respond to appeals. Tell a story saying it was you.

This was not a detection if your letter is legit and the GM story is true that this is a suspension from report then I don't see why you can't say it simply isn't.

If you say you'll kill yourself then you'll get locked up in a psychiatric holding cell; please don't do that.

Since it already happened that someone actually did kill himself after he got banned, technical support is not allowed to do ANYTHING related to the account if someone writes that he will kill himself. They always have to hand it over to their supervisor. They know, better just unlock this account, than having some negative headlines. I don't say that this is a guaranteed thing, but chances are good, actually higher than anything else (got hacked, brother tried a bot.. bla bla bla)

Yeah, that worked out well for this one. Don't do that unless you want the police knocking on your door. "Threats of suicide are a first-degree misdemeanor in Ohio" and might be a similar offense in other states and countries too.
