[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

Force Combat -> Attack any valid unit as soon as we target it. Doesn't wait for combat before starting the routine.

Settings -> Any settings are done through the Settings Manager now built into the routine GUI. There's no settings in there currently for Insanity other than the default ones though.

CoP ->
- Lite: Standard rotation (using dots, mind flay etc - just a shorted MB cooldown).
- Standard: How CoP was meant to be, no dots on main target, mind spike as filler. Will dot off targets.
- New/Old: 2 different version of the DoT Weave rotations (Icy Veins has more info on these).

You probably want to look through the settings and adjust where you see fit. The standard settings are probably fine, but you'll need to configure things like what CoP setting you want etc.

The "Rebuilding talents/glyphs" is just Insanity checking it's got the correct set of talents and glyphs recorded internally to base the rotation upon. It's nothing you need to worry about.

That cleared it up, but I seem to be doing really low single target dps, 35k , with ilvl 714 .

Have you tried other talent builds (i.e if using CoP, have you tried AS)?

 

Been testing this a few times as shadow now. Comparing to different specs ect.
Doing all my calculations based on simcraft ect.

And i can say, i really think your routine is underperfoming atm. Havent bothered checking into exactly on what spells/rotations, (can do this if you need me to)
With my curret gear and spec, according to simcraft: i should end up at around 56k dps i a 500sec fight (standing still fight ofc)
With ur routine doing all the work, same spec/gear: in a fight that lastet around 450sec, i did 43k dps. And i stood still the entire fight.

I know of course there are variables to count for, but i still believe the gap on over 10k+ is to much

I wouldn't read too much into what SimulationCraft says. You need to edit the settings and profiles extensively to make it match what's really happening in game. SC is based on everything playing out absolutely perfect (and their mechanics are only theorised behind the scenes). That's not to say it's worthless - the logic in the profiles are pretty good - but the results aren't gospel when comparing to in game.

 

Well i mean, in a fight, that last almost the same ammount of time as SimCraft, where i stood still with no interrupts, with bl and everything, then i believe it should be able to atleast match the Simcraft?
But it wasent even close?

Did you...
- Use a greater draenic intellect flask
- Use Sleeper Sushi food
- Pre-pot with Draenic Intellect
- Pre-cast Mind Spike before pull
- Did you use a second potion when BL was active


There's then disadvantages such as Honorbuddy can't see how many shadowy apparitions are in flight, abilities like Halo which change depending on range from target calculate as being perfect each time.


What settings did you have in SC for target type? I.e. below 20% HP we can use SWD, but against a target dummy we can't.

You can fight a target dummy for 5 minutes exactly, take a count of damage done + DPS, then run the exact same test a second time, and because of the RNG, you'll get a different result each time. With SC it'll be nearly exactly the same each time as it's working on perfect figures/conditions each time.

No immediate plans to add multi-lingual interface back in, sorry.

 

So this is still the best shadow priest routine I have ever used, just wondering if there was a way to "never cancel spectral guise ever". Sometimes I manually use it to avoid the chaos bolt or enemy burst.

Ps, 26-30k dps in rated bgs, top dmg always no matter what.

Hey - There's no code to cancel spectral guise in there. It should actually pause the rotation when it's active to stop it from breaking.

High crit? AS. Otherwise CoP Lite or CoP Standard. I sorta like CoP Lite just because it's the easy option and can't mess up much.

 

Spec Guise, Feather, Surge of Darkness, Psychic Scream, Twist of Fate, Cascade, Cop are talents. Cop Lite - default. i have the routine set up to basically 1) do as most damage as possible 2) interrupt healers. I do the rest, which is basically nothing execept md/buffing. Also auto bubble/fade at the same time for a greater "wall".

 

Does anyone have any settings they would like to upload on the settings manager or post here for AsSpirits or CoP??

Hey Millz, i love your routines, so i bought this one too, but when i start it, it only spam casts mass despell, am i doing somthing wrong?
I am in shadow spec.

Unlikely. I'm not much of a healer, not convinced I'd be able to make a good enough routine for it.

Restarting your PC will usually fix that. Boot it up, then select the restart option (not just turn on and off).
