Clearspeed per Map // Pathfinding

How do you guys get cleartimes around 5minutes in maps?
With the current pathfinding running through the map alone takes usually 5min+
My builds oneshots whites and most blue mobs, so they basicly do run through the map without really stopping.
But the pathfinding exploring decides so many times to run miles back to pick up a chest or 1 missed room on the other side of the map.
That costs sooo much time for no real reason :/

I cant get to 5min at all in average like that.
With the weird walking around + a couple if times back to town to sell i usually end up at 8+

So how do you guys improve your clearspeed?

 

I believe to get really good clear times you want to turn off opening of chests, and choose not to pickup yellows (saving alot of town run/time).

I am currently using "The Retch" belt along with a quicksilver w/ extra charges, & extra move speed - The belt allows the flask to last for around 10 seconds, & I am using an outside source to trigger my quicksilver after moving xx seconds. I have very good gear, and am have very fast movespeed overall. In combination of both I am able to run <5 min maps for usually anything 74 and lower (no yellows, only regular chests). I am averaging around 6-6:30 for tier 10/77 maps w/ all chests opening (still no yellow pickup).

 

hmm, no yellows. That's a huge loss in alts and chaos though :/ I guess without Rare items at all and the resulting no tp back to town I'd reach 5min too. In a really not satisfying way

 

Don't do chaos recipes ever if you want to achieve <5 min clear speeds.

In my opinion, it's better to loot RGB items over rares b/c you don't waste time IDing and there are fewer to loot - which means less time reselling. AND to put it in perspective you gain about like 7-9~ chromes a map and with 15-16 chromes (Talisman SC) equates 1 chaos orb. So you're not entirely shafting yourself with chaos per hour.

What kind of build you guys use to get that clearspeed ? Im using an old char i had thats melee and i get like 10 mins/run avg.

 

What build are you using indeed? My Vaal Spark build can do runs in less than 3 minutes on average but won't go much higher than 74 without dying.

 

this build is probably really expensive in terms of gear.

 

Just to provide some comparison - a lvl 81 with mediocre gear (Bladefall w/only 6k ES) clears @ 13 min avg & dies more than it should...

I just have a really optimized CR and MapRunner. Also the reason why I don't die that much is because I'm using a chicken 2.0 plugin (helps a lot in talisman league because of the spike talisman).

Try ignoring maps that has a lot of backtracking. You don't wana die? Get FlaskHelper and Chicken 2.0 plugin. Have life flask with instant recovery, one for bleed and freeze. The rest is just my character being 99% geared than everyone else lol.

 

Chicken will fake your dead amounts. If you'll logout on like 20% you'll die and the bot won't notice that.

i have it set at 38%

my characters have 5k+ life

 

having 6 min average per run / pickign up only necks/rings/belts uniques, Lightning arrow build clearing up to 75 maps with mf 200/30

 

Level 90 Bladefall all gems 20/20 (well geared) :

 

shadow crit reave + whirling blades , 92lvl, 30k dps, yellow pickup, 0.1 deaths per our , 70lvl avarage map, ~9-10min

 

I am running the same exact setup in Talisman. It clears very quickly w/ good gear, however will still die if not running chicken.

When you say Chicken 2.0. Is there an upgraded plugin for chicken? I looked and didn't see anything really.

What makes this different is that it'll use up all flask charges before activating the logout thresh hold.


When I mentioned that I had really good gear, I meant it. I don't die to phys/ele reflect. I don't die to frost/flame bearers. I can insta leech w/ acuity. I have 13k+ evasion and 5k+ life. I have ele weakness capped ect ect.

If you're playing in talisman league (which i am ), you'll encounter mobs that'll spawn spikes on the floor. Since there is no logic setup to avoid them, your character usually stands on it until it disappears. It's impossible to tank through the bleed dot so that's why you use the chicken plugin.

I'm pushing 100 as fast as i can, avoiding strongboxes (exiles causes fps spikes and poison clouds insta gibs if you don't have any chaos resist) and horrible map affixes (- max resist, blood magic).



People keep messaging me how to make currency with this build since I don't do chaos recipes or loot rares .

I have like 15 stash tabs or more I can't count. I only pick up items to chance and I try my luck. So far I've chanced 3 shavronne's wrappings and a skyforth. The bases are (Occultist Vestment and Sorcerers Boots). Chancing uniques and using my farmed fusings/jeweller's to 6l items is how i make my currency.

 

Too bad I will never equip my bots to achieve that kind of clear speed, but Im fine with it, good job though.
