New Hunter CC - Need your input

Its not the CC. Its either a conflicting CC or a plugin. Remove all other Hunter CCs and all plug-ins.

What spec uses the AoE Volley thing?

 

Personal preference is for BM spec. But it will AoE in all specs

 

Having an issue feeding the pet. I have Salted Venison in my bag, which the pet can eat but the log keeps spamming the following:

Feed Pet
Resting.
PET HAPPINESS: 77
Feed Pet
Resting.
PET HAPPINESS: 77
Feed Pet
Resting.
PET HAPPINESS: 76
Feed Pet
Resting.
PET HAPPINESS: 76

Also, I don't see him moving to the mobs to loot at X% health. He is only looting after the mob is completely dead.

Other than those 2 things, it's been working great so far. Nice job!

 

Got a log file?

Sometimes the HP does not update fast enough, if the mob is dying before you run towards it try change this value:

premptiveMobHP = XX;

Increase it to maybe 25. So at 25% the character will run towards the mob.

 

Seems to me that some variables are not set based on the log. I could be wrong though, not really sure how to interpret these.

The feed pet/resting spam starts at about [7:14:38am].

EDIT: I also just noticed that he is drinking with like 50% mana, when the variable is set to 20%. I will post the log for this later, I have to head off to work. Cheers.

 

Awesome CC so far fps Viper Sting, Aspects, Looting, Pet .. all work like a charm

 

Fpsware, do I have to enable a setting so my hunter will AoE grind? So far he hasnt done this :/
Or do I need a pet with an Aoe taunt?

Also i recommned using bear with the following autocasts on; Thunderstomp || Swipe || Growl; Anything else is wasted focus. (just my opinion)

Use Glyph of Mending + Mend Pet,
and personally i changed happiness from default to 70, which for me has removed all pet feeding issues.

i tested av, but it didn't go too smooth ( yet )

- when mounting my hunter doesn't do anything for about 6 seconds
- in 80% of the time he runs past enemies without attacking ( unless they attack us first )
- when we get attacked by a second enemy, he tries to handle them as an add in pve, and attacks the second attacker ( even when the first attacker has 10% hp left )
- when we're attacking an enemy, and the enemy runs out of range, my hunter just stops, and doesn't move for a while.

I also tested this in av, i get the same problems as modo. For me it doesnt chase runners, it just stands there and says out of range, while the melee classes attack me. Ill post a log in a bit.

For leveling i am really impressed with this custom class! nice work fpsware!

 

Noticed 90% of the time it shoves an immolation trap down, then a freezing trap which just breaks instantly.
Apart from that, all is good atm!

 

Just curious - will there be RAF support for this?

 

I picked up the glyphs as suggested, and tried changing the pethappiness value to 70, 50 and other values ... but I'm still getting the FEEDING PET / Resting spam. It appears to be casting "Feed Pet" but it's not selecting food.

Maybe Salted Vension is not on the pet food list? Do you know where the food list is located or have a suggestion on another food type to use?
