Every time I try to buy the unlimited 24.99 session my credit card gets instantly temp suspended. Anyone else have this problem?
Hi, Johnnydeath, We've never heard of this issue before. Perhaps, your card disallows payments to countries other than the one you live in. Our payment provider is Gate2Shop, and I'm not certain in which country they process the payments. The forum staff does not have the capability to assist you with this problem. We don't have access to user account information, or the tools to do such. Instead, you should contact the Bossland GmbH front office at support@thebuddyforum.com, and explain the problem to them. cheers, chinajade
Been on the phone multiple times trying to figure out why my card was getting declined. I was told by a manager that when ever I try to purchase from this website that during the transaction, someone or something trys to hack into my account. Thats great to know. I have friends that buy from this website and I hope thats not the case. Im not going to be using this product now that I know this info. I know a lot of people use this site but Im not willing to take the chance. Thanks anyways.
Seems weird paypal declined the transaction also, stating "security protocol" as a reason for being declined when trying to use my bank account. I would try and use a paysafe card but after all this, aint worth the risk. Thanks though for blaming my bank. Because, obliviously my bank is at fault, not some German bot company.
Hi again, Johnnydeath, <chuckles> No one is forcing you to buy from us. And you definitely shouldn't if you are uncomfortable with the transaction. One thing we ran into recently... Tried several times with a valid payment method, and was unsuccessful in making a purchase from a game company. We'd successfully used the same payment method several times with them in the past. It turned out the problem was use of a VPN. Once the VPN was temporarily turned off, the payment sailed right through. Not saying this is your problem also, but everyone is (rightfully) putting stronger security measures in place. There have been a host of websites that have been h4cked in the past few months. Ref: https://haveibeenpwned.com/PwnedWebsites This is a strong reason you should never use the same account name or password for more than one website. Bossland GmbH goes even further, and suggests you use a different account name and password for our forums and for the Buddy Auth / Buddy Store. cheers & much success, chinajade
el oh el you're being an ass I once had this issue.. My bank put on hold because I did not allow international purchases. This bot has been around for like 6-7 years to my knowledge and I also used Paypal to make my purchases for subscription and multiple store purchases. I live in America. I also don't blame these guys for a transaction error. I call my bank and say hey my Paypal payment to an international company is being declined. Don't buy it if you don't like it Paysafe is secure.. good luck and hoping you have a Bank and not some mickey mouse bank I personally use Capital One bank for years now and i Had to enable international purchases I buy cd keys abroad for cheap..
Johnnydeath, No one had blamed your or anyone's bank. Btw, gratz for owning a bank! This sounds solid Now on the question - all the payments for Honorbuddy are processed by company, specially licensed for this sensitive job: Gate2Shop Payments, supporting over 80 different payment methods! The buddy staff are not involved into details regarding your card, bank, etc, indeed, so blaming them for your own fault is not the right way to handle this issue! Usually, the right direction should be to call your card company and demand support there.
