The new version of Studio Companion (currently awaiting approval) has a new override option window where you can set global item actions for all raids.

Nice to have the Sinestra option and the global selling options, great work. Seems the Sinestra option has introduced some weirdness though. Toon killed Cho, looted him, ported to sell and then flew back to Bastion and got itself stuck. Log attached.

You are correct. That goes to show that you should not rename options mid-development. I did a bit of cleanup before submitting the last version and that lead to the Planner not recognizing the option anymore. The bot now thinks there is still a boss to kill in Bastion of Twilight so the character gets send there and then the profile checks the correct option and determines it is done. I have submitted an update and hope it gets approved today. For now you can remove Bastion of Twilight from your raid to get the other raids completed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I also found a problem in the raid options when they contained gems or consumables (for example Blackwing Lair and Firelands). This is also fixed in the submitted version of Studio Companion once it is live.

The update has been approved. You should be able to re-add Bastion of Twilight to the Planner and see it as "4/5 Complete" if Sinestra is disabled.

 

I do offer sales every once in a while, but those occasions are rare. I do understand that we live in a sales culture where the red "-X %" mark is very important. But I don't really like that culture. My products tend to get better and better over time, so I have trouble considering making them cheaper and cheaper. You can go ahead and wait for a sale and at some time in the future there will probably be one again. Maybe I also decide to lower the general price in a while for different reasons. I just can't give you dates or promises right now. Sorry.

 

I have just reset the trial periods for all users.

Having a problem where about 20-25% of the bosses, my toon just stands there in front of the boss. HB reports no viable mobs in the area and then I have to manually attack something for it to go/start. I'll try and get a log the next time I run this, i need to look up how to do that. But quite annoying.

This happened in ICC and firelands so far. If i remember correctly, on sindragosa in icc, it just stood there without attacking the 2 sides packs and then the dragons when they flew in. in firelands at major domo, just stood there in front of the cats not pulling. Also on alysrazor my toon didnt even loot the boss, just landed and ran to the next boss, lord rhyolith. there were a few other cases but i cant remember which, might have been in dragon soul too.

 

This seems to have happened to a few people. It mostly stems from an ancient HB bug with the KillUntilComplete behavior in the profile. That is nothing I can fix directly, but people have had success with clearing there cache or even performing a clear install.

Please take note that some cache folders may be hidden, so just because you don't see them in the explorer directly, does not mean they are not there. The articles explain how to make them visible.

 

I know nothing about coding and making the profiles, but is it possible to make a hotspot or something like that where the trash and/or boss spawns to make sure they are agroed? But I'm sure its something a lot more difficult to do though.

 

I have tried implementing a few fallbacks in code, because the hotspots are fine and enemies are well within attack range when this bugs occurs. I will dig some more, but it is not that easy to do when HB ignores mobs it should attack.

Have a quick request for you I hope could be added to the Firelands run. Is there anyway to implement a Mount specific run for Alysrazor? Similar to Attumen in Kara? I have already gotten the Rag mount and Aly can be done as first boss and leave which would make things run so much faster for the host of toons I have. I would imagine this could be useful for others as well.

 

I do have a task on my list to add a boss selector to the raid studio profiles. This should do what you want to achieve. But I don't have an ETA at hand. It is pretty high up the list, but considering that the UI overhaul I planned to take 2 days took me a whole week, I don't want to make promises I can't keep. It will come in time.

 

Warning!

There seems to be a problem with Honorbuddy navigation when the bot moves out of an indoor area (like a cave or Ironforge for example) to an outdoor area and then switches to a flying mount. There are also issues when the bot tries to start flying atop an indoor area (might affect situations like trying to fly above the Cleft of Shadows in Orgrimmar). This bug will have effects on all HB profiles. I have reported this to the developers, but please note that this is not a problem with my products, but something Bossland needs to address.

Even though it has been said time and time again to not run the bot unattended, I know you guys do it anyways. ;-) I strongly recommend that you don't let the bot run unattended until this issue has been fixed. I just found myself stuck in a loop on the way to Bastion of Twilight in the Ironforge doorway. This is obviously a risk so be careful. The affected Honorbuddy version is V2.5.14855.813. A new Honorbuddy version that fixes this issue will be released today.

Well, you can surely run the profiles right now, but I would not recommend running them unattended right now. I got word from the staff that the new version will come today, but I don't know when this is going to happen.

I sometimes feel it is a bit sad that the review system is not more popular. Even my free Studio Companion plugin (with currently 2700 legit users) has only 5 reviews. That means 0.18% of all users have left a review. :-(
