I turned on the bot lastnight, watched it for about an hour and went to sleep. I woke up the bot was still running which I was happy about but when I hit "R", I found I had a whisper from someone I didn't know. Immediately I think alright I gotta lay low for alittle bit and I'll be all set. Well I did some research on who had whispered me. I'm wondering is it a gm when I try and add the name and it says "Player not found"? or is it a gm when I search the armory and get no names on my server? Or is it possible it was just a gold seller advertising? this Im not entirely sure of because of the name of the person who had whispered me had to do with blizzard and I feel like would've been taken by some blizzard fan. Your thoughts would be appreciated thanks
Gms wont whisper you unless they are responding to a ticket. And even then the mechanics of a gm whisper are different, it asks you if you are busy first.
Not sure about this. We had a guy here that got a whisper from a gm who asked him, why he's playing 20 hours non stop.
a gm doesnt wisper you. but they ask you to accept a chat request from them. If you do so. you will start a convasation with the GM
it has been said a mill times and now i say it again...get WIM if you get a wisp it will show it in a box with the chars name race class and lvl if its a lvl 1 then ignore it also the search button is your friend
^ thank you pedis, I wasn't complaining nor really worried about the wrath of the banhammer because simply yea we do break the rules and when you do you have to be willing to accept the consequences. But I will be using that plugin so i can atleast see what it said thank you.
get yourself a chat addon that will keep trace of the wisper like WIM on curse edit : it's posting fast here! did'nt see oither posts were already mentioning it
