Thanks oleary! Tested it on a hunter - decent script, no deaths due to boss/trash mechanics in Halls of Blood LFR wing. Tested the previous Hellbreach one too, its working too, but several avoid mechanics are still missing and the bot died a few times off them. Mostly Unstable Orb - Spell and/or Unstable Orb - Spell - which one of both is the ground mechanic on Iron Reaver and Residual Shadows - Spell & Residual Shadows - Spell - on the trash before Kormrok.
Cheers Aion, I had some issues with the previous wing collecting the correct ids, I'm confident I'll be able to clean that up in the next day or so. None of the trash is set up in this profile yet either, its just fairly easy to overcome so it isn't as noticeable.
The Kormrok trash does indeed deadly enough ground zones, for ranged classes at least, but beside that, its just fine Thanks again!
The scripts stopped working today with the HonorBuddy update that just came out. Presumably I can get around it by extending the wodlfr class instead of the blackrockfoundry one, but I probably wont get off work until about 9 hours from now. I'll get them updated as soon as possible.
From some brief tests, they had not stopped working in general, but only if loaded via Custom Scripts Path option. If you copy them in the default profiles/scripts folders, they are working properly again. I guess, when Custom Scripts option is used, the default scripts are kind of ignored for compatibility.
Destructors Rise is added Doorways are still a problem, I think I can work around it in a future version.
oleary, Great looking start to a decent LFR script. A few things I needed to tweak and may help some others. Is to turn off Auto Move and Auto Target in your Combat Routine, and then make sure that Combat Movement is True inside Dungeon buddy settings. Depening on what CR you use it could cause problems, you could easily tell it was fighting for control to avoid mechanics otherwise. The mechanics dont need to be to terribly safe for LFR, in terms of stand in fire if possible you may want to add a health check and if 60%+ then you can ignore them. Especially noticed this due to my melee character. Also I had some fairly terrible tanks pulling bosses through aoe on ground, and the melee char was skirting just outside the damage zone with CTM. We can easily run though this with high health! (This is terribly obvious on Tyrant Velhari) All in all, it is a great script, just a few more tweaks and it should be afkable, I would advise to have suspend on key press enabled so that you can jump in to stop odd behavior. I did get stuck at boxes near Iskar too! My biggest 2 cents would be tone down trying to avoid mechanics completely with high HP, it is LFR! But definitely kick into save your ass mode and get to a safe spot for heals at low health and wait to go back in! I think this would look more like what typical LFR people do!
Hi, I copied the files/folder to the HB (and even copied the files to the default locations, scripts and profiles), DB lets me select the HFC wings when selecing Specific raids, but when I start up HB I get: [DungeonBuddy]: Raid type: Specific [DungeonBuddy]: Selected 4 raids [DungeonBuddy]: Scenario type: None ... Bot stopping! Reason: No LFRs are selected.
Sorry to hear that. It is working for me. you may want to try reinstalling HB (unpack zip in separate folder to check it works for you). Otherwise it may be helpful to send a complete log.
Currently these profiles are modeled on the existing lfr profiles, and I am tweaking things like avoidance radius as I run them. As far as I know there is no health based mechanic avoidance in any of the standard profiles, so I would have to invent the logic, but more importantly I have several lower geared toons which do still get obliterated by some of these mechanics, so I need to keep them in there to some degree. I think they just need tweaking to tone down or up certain mechanics. There are still some major mechanics being ignored such as artillery on IR etc, and some fairly major navigation issues (I believe due to the meshes), so these are still quite young profiles, but I think it is most likely they will still try and play through the mechanics regardless of HP, as I do as a mythic raider when completing LFR by hand. It looks much worse when a full mythic geared character, who tops DPS the whole time and has all eyes on him, continuously dies to noob mechanics. Additionally, as stated in the HB window when starting them, AFK is not recommended (nor will it be). I hope you do find these useful as I go forward with them though, I do have melee characters I'm testing with, so they will get better for you.
trying to make sure i put the files in the right spots.....? B:\HonorBuddy\Default Profiles\DungeonBuddy\Warlords of Draenor\Raids and B:\HonorBuddy\Dungeon Scripts\Warlords of Draenor\Raids
As long as the scripts are within HonorBuddy\Dungeon Scripts and profiles within HonorBuddy\Default Profiles, Dungeonbuddy would "recognize" them as natural and reload them realtime. For new addition, you still need HB client restart.
