after new version of hearthbuddy released, now my windows detected virus in hearthbuddy, trojan:Win32/codinx.B!cl~ and keep request for restart to remove it. anyone have the same problem like me? [/IMG]
And are you sure its safe to allow this exception? I am using windows defender, says the alrt level is severe..
If you are unsure you can upload the suspicious file to virustotal to check it against more the 20 anti-virus / anti-trojan programs. When the majority of these programs gives a green light it is most likely a false positive as Tony said. How to set a exception rule can be found in the documentation of any Anti-Virus software.
okay the windows defender is very annoying always found false positive virus, so it is unable to deactivate itself and i found a way to trun it off: go to your start and search: regedit.exe and open it. in regedit go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mic*rosoft\Windows Defender Right Click-->New-->Add a new DWORD and name it DisableAntiSpyware Double Click on it and change the value to 1. these will enable or disable Windows Defender 0 = On 1 = Off tats it, then i install avira free anti virus and it works great!
