[Order Bot] Mining (Leveling 1-60 + 1-50 Quests)

Whenever I try to load the profile, I get the following:

Trying to use the 1-60 mining profile located in
C:\Users\prinnies\Desktop\Rebornbuddy 1.0.361.0\Profiles\y2krazy\Profiles\Gathering

I'm sure I'm doing something easily overlooked wrong

 

Do you have Order Bot selected in the drop down menu?

 

why when lvling MINning it never ride chocobo?

 

Is the checkbox in Global Settings unchecked for "Use Mount?" If so, it's likely the case that you stopped the bot (or it moved onto another location) after running the DisableMount CodeChunk, but before running the EnableMount CodeChunk.

I've been reading the xml file XD

 

Having some major pathing issues as of the last exbuddy update in CWH.

EDIT: You don't use ExBuddy. Oh. Well then I have no idea what's causing this, but it keeps trying to mine in midair and getting caught on rocks.

 

It's not "optimized" with ExBuddy... yet. Soon!™

If you use it with EnableFlight checked, you may or may not experience such issues.

I got the same issue except in a different area. Have you been able to address this. The profile mostly works with EnableFlight except every now and then it bugs out. You can disable flight and re-enable it and it will get back on track for a bit before bugging out again.

Thanks for the reply y2krazy. Also wanted to clarify, the profile + EnableFlight works perfectly up til it goes to sea of clouds at 58, at which for me it bugs in a slightly different area on the map than it did for the other poster. But again thanks for at least taking the time to reply.

 

Hey man, how can I get the XYZ values required for the "no combat move to" and "hotspot" tags in your profile? I found that if I remove the problem area hot spot then the bot will at least continue to go back and forth between two hot spots without bugging for a straight hour. But I'd like to either try to manipulate the XYZ values a bit or add in an additional hotspot so that I'm not wasting time going back and forth between two just empty areas.

Also can you briefly describe the purpose of the "hotspot" and "blackspot" tags? I have a general idea of what the hotspot is just no idea what the blackspot is.

I gave up on that spot myself and I used the previous spot instead. Mostly because the bot works fairly good there and there is almost never anyone else there.

y2krazy did a FANTASTIC job with this profile from 1-50. From 51-60 I would suggest making changes to the profile to suit your own tastes. Either by using GatherUP and making your own or modifying what y2krazy has done.

Here is what I used to get from 58-60. Eventide Jade actually sells for something, so it's good to get it when you can. The Raw Opal is just vendor trash on my server. You can change it to the slightly higher level raw material if you feel like it. Also I found that Sharp Vision II served me much better than Solid Reason from 51-60. I think that might depend on how good your gear is so your mileage may vary.

Hi there, I just returned to the game after over a year break. I have a few questions.

First off, I see you say I must set my miner gear set at the bottom of the profile..but I can't figure out where to do that. I scrolled to the bottom of the profile in the internet explorer area and theres nowhere to set it. I looked under global settings and botbase settings too.

Secondly, when trying to run the mining profile, i get this error, which may be related to my first problem.

i just fixed this yesterday. i fixed it this way. downloaded MS XML editor and fixed the code. if i remeber it right should be line 1262'ish and down. There are two sets of code that have "ExGather" and they should be "Gather". and that will(should) fix it.
