The update is not yet live on the store. The update that I am currently preparing is huge, that is why I can't submit a small change before the major changes are solid. I would run the risk of breaking the whole plugin. But as I said, you can either remove Baradin Hold from your Studio Planner Run until the fix is live or move to the raid manually and start the bot inside the raid itself. I always post my patchnotes in this thread and you can also find them in the "Home" window of Studio Companion. There you can always see if an update is available to you.
Hello. Could you please add swap spec feature? For example my class has dps spec and tank spec. One boss requires high burst damage and the next one requires good defensive abilities. Is it possible to add setting that will make bot swap my character's spec right before the encounter?
I have it on my list of features I want to implement, but it will take a while. I have plans to go over every raid profile one more time and one after another they will get this capability.
I purchased one of your products yesterday (works flawlessly) and wanted to use the "chain run raids" feature. (Studio Planner). I planned a couple of raids, but I can't seem to select to do a "normal run" or a "boss run" for each and every raid after I made a "Planner. Is there a "save" button somewhere to save certain "lootrules" setup for each raid, because I ran a couple of raids yesterday to test it out and it just kept every possible lootable item, even though I disabled certain items. Might be me overlooking a couple of features too.. Great products and will certainly buy more when needed.
I would love to help you, but it would be a lot easier if you could specify a case. In general it goes like this: raid drop management and raid options are configured per character. If you do a "Planner Run", each character will do them with the options set within his raid options. For items you can also use the "Item Override Options" in the Raid menu. These are then applied to all characters as they "override" the individual character settings. Everything you set up is saved the moment you set it, so there is no need for a save button. If you have an example of a raid that did not sell an item it should have sold, I would love to see a log of it (Guide: How to Attach your Log). And if you can, a screenshot of that setting would also be nice as I don't output all settings to the log (that would be too much spam).
After HBRelog updates, https://github.com/highvoltz/HBRelog/releases/tag/HBRelog.v1.1.4 HBRelog support is not working. The profile does not recognize HBRelog and log out.
I heard that from other developers as well. I will check it out. Edit: My HBRelog calls rely on the HBRelog API that is baked into Honorbuddy. My first thought is that this one needs to be updated as well and they maybe forgot it. Will dig into it some more.
I just tried it with HBRelog V1.1.4 and it works fine for me. But since another community developer brought up an issue with HBRelog, I can't rule out that something is off. The fact is though, that I am calling an HBRelog function that is baked into Honorbuddy and if there is something off in general (which is possible), it is something you should take up in the HBRelog support thread. It does not seem to be a Studio Companion issue since the call works fine with the latest HB release and the latest HBRelog release. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Had the same problem of HBRelog not working after upgrading HBrelog to 1.1.4 and Honorbuddy. I deleted "CompiledAssemblies", rebooted PC, and it's now working. Give it a try !!
That is a great suggestion. Thank you. I installed HBRelog into a clean Honorbuddy installation. That's why I did not have any precompiled assemblies and the issue did not show itself.
Try doing a clean installation (Guide: How to perform a clean Installation) and also install HBRelog into a clean folder.
I can't seem to get the studio companion to work. I set up the raids I want to do and press start. Nothing happens after that. I can run the raids if I load them individually through the profiles. Is there a step by step guide on how to set everything up?
There is no guide, because it is indeed as simple as that. Could you try doing the exact same steps and then provide a log. Without one, everything I say is just guesswork (Guide: How to Attach your Log). At times it can also help to do some spring cleaning with a clean HB installation (Guide: How to perform a clean Installation).
Well that shows that HB is not even starting up correctly. It looks like it attaches to WoW and then doesn't find the game process anymore. But that is a problem with Honorbuddy installation. You should probably try the clean installation (Guide: How to perform a clean Installation) and if the problem persists, ask for help in the Honorbuddy forum. That is not something I can help you with as I have no way of fixing issues with Honorbuddy itself.
Thanks a lot for the help. It's working great! I'll remember this whenever this happens in the future.
Hi, i run full cata raid on 8 toons each weeks, and on some classes, i ran into a bug each week. I witnessed and noted 2 of them: - my rogue won't attack magmaw, waiting in front of him : "NO VIABLE MOB IN AREA" - my Spriest won't move after killing and looting halfus, same log : "NO VIABLE MOB IN AREA" I ran through the logs, and can't see any error message, i run latest HB with stock singular.
