When Bllizzard reset gold/items etc on banned accounts?

So my question is when Blizzard reset gold/items etc on banned accounts? If its when ban appears or when account is relased from ban? Because looking on info on battle.net i still have all items i gain with. Or its just visual bug?

 

You answered yourself.
When the account is released.

Obviously, they run a script on all the affected accounts, and lift them, with removing conquest/honor/gold from all the toons.

 

I've never lost anything while getting unbanned.
Turned over a few perm bans though.

This... the new 6month bans are something new.. its the first time blizzard and really actively removed items from bottng accounts as far as I know.


Interesting they said things like achievements and mounts may be removed too- but I have yet to see a report such as this. Not saying it hasn't happen just not seen a report

 

I know last year in the March banwave Blizz took all my gold from every toon I had.

 

Piggybacking on this, do Time Tokens get wiped also? Meaning if I store a token on the account and if it gets suspended, do they remove that or will it be available for use when it becomes un-suspended?

 

Haven't they started to clamp down on guild banks also? not wiping them but banning people involved in small guilds that store botted gold I was reading somewhere on forums.

there isn't any hard evidence of this yet, I'm aware of the posts your talking about- However we need to see more then just one post of some 2016 forum joined member going on about HB being detected and blizzard taking my guild gold.

I actually think that case was due to gold selling- Not botting... and yes gold sellers will always have there Guilbanks removed

 

the guildbank gold doesnt get removed when other accounts are in that guild too but a member take the gold they will most likely be banned for gold selling or some shit. happend to a friend of mine after i was banned and he took the gold from guild bank. Its absolutly not legal but blizz doesnt care.

 

Did it take it for personal use or to sell?

 

My prior to last ban blizzard dissolved my botting guild with over 500K of gold in the bank, tho the characters in this guild were bots from 6-7 account and 1 friend who was there just in case.
I had my friend dethrone my old GM char (6 months ban at the time main account) and went on with my botting and storing for a few months. When the 3 accounts i used at the time where banned, they also deleted the guild with bank.

Edit: Was just collecting for personal use btw, never sold gold, just gave some away to friends

 

he just wanted to use it and he got banned for gold selling 2 hours later

 

The 6 month suspensions (12,18) are new for blizzard. Last time they stripped everything about 10mins before releasing the accounts; gold, honor, conquest, etc. From memory they didn't do mounths/achieves/guild banks; but I suppose we'll have to see.

I've got a personal account I actually want back for the first time; I'm working on another account atm but ya; looking forward to june.

 

I was wondering the same about my account, I had like 500k. I don't really care about gold but what I fear most is that they will remove my achievements and mounts. I managed to do gold challenges just right before the ban and I don't know if I'll have the time to do them again. I asked a gamemaster and he replied that there wasn't a note on my account of what has to be removed and that after the ban expires it MIGHT be with the same currencies/items. Is it safe to assume that or the GM wasn't that knowledgeable and I'll probably have everything removed with an automated script?

 

They probably haven't fully decided yet.
