yeah i came to remove my post, figured out after a while.

 

Yo dbf, you think Quest plugin gonna be down longer than the 1 month bot downtime when Ascendancy hits?

I've gotten it to work on Alpha, so there's no downtime.

nightelf, darkbluefirefly, the creator of this mod was recently banned (unbanned I see as well, now)
He added the password, and i get the feeling he wont add it back. Regardless, the plugin needs to be updated first.

The question is how incentivized is DBF to work on it / release it to the ungrateful plebs (including me).

Without this plugin, how are we gonna level a new character on new league?

 

By hand?

 

If bot from low level, chances are very high that you will be banned sooner or later.
So just play by hand till ...35

 

It would be amazing if this plugin were updated. It's one of the biggest reasons to use exilebuddy over that other bot.

 

It doesn't matter if we quest by hand or not. Some had poured hundred of hours manually into a character and then started to bot only to be banned then. We'll say it again: It's the person that's telling the bot what to do that gets themselves banned, not the bot itself. Some of us on here do much better than others yet we all use the same bot.

 

I "botted" from level 2 onwards. All you're doing is manually taking over where Quest plugin handled things. Yes it is more intensive, but a lot less than manually playing yourself. You do need to be paying attention periodically though to know when to change zones and when to take over for trials or quest related activity (bandits etc).

 

Why I need log;pass to download it?

 

Because the developer that created the plugin was temporarily banned here. While he is now unbanned, he may not be willing to update or share any of his work publicly here anymore.

Even if you had the password to that site, the plugin would not work as it has not been updated.

 

no questplugin = no reason to use buddy. we will see some for sure

 

Although i would love the quest plugin its not hard to level your characters manually. I personally multibox 6 flame totem chars, its against GGG rules but dont take them all to town at the same time and its fine.
