hello, dont see it in other post so question is: worth is buying bot if im need it for properly leveling, questing in normal ->cruel->merc? im play POE and know all mecanics but i dont want leveling many champs until 70+ so it is good at leveling?
Buy both for 1m each. Try them both and see what you like. I bought the other, meanwhile this bot (exile buddy) not worked for the past 1m. When it starts to work, I'll buy it to try. ATM, both bots cannot reliably complete questing.
im dont know that there are two bots. No, im about only exile bot, im use buddy bots for diablo and hearthstone so i like this company
It's a nice bot, yes. But somehow worthless without plugins. there are only 3 (?) People left who can provide valuable bot updates and plugins. and all of them keep repeating the same story "it's time consuming" "be patient" "tough week" and so on. every user who's able to count up 1 and 1 knows, that the few masterminds left here FIRST feed their $ Botfarms and provide a PART of valuable plugins LATER. or later later... or later later later. Ok the story isn't that wicked. But there's truth in it. I can understand it... if i had the time and the ability i would also act this way.
And you really think updating everything is 1 hour of work? We are struggling for 2 days already to make things working as before or better. So many things changed, part of the functionality got removed for reasons and we need to write them from scratch. Currency Tab is messing everything up. When we'll finish, tests need to be made before the public can see it. I am still updating stuff and helping the others and didn't even run Exilebuddy once after the beta release lol.
I dont agree with most of this. EB is definitely not useless without all the extra community plugins. No plugins have been updated yet and i have 3 chars about to hit 80 and EB has only been up a little over a day. You mention our current devs are in it for themselves first, then give us the leftovers... but i dont see that at all. Lets take a look at a few of the important plugins and their devs: Exvault has already posted he is working on MapRunner and the work is nearly complete. He expects a release sometime later today. toNyx posted he has most of the Flask Helper code working, but wanted to test it for a few hours before releasing it. Alcor has 11(?) plugins to update. Thats a whole lot of coding! What he updates and in what order is completely up to him. Only 4 of his plugins are public. Alcor75PlayerMover is probably the most impactful of the 4 plugins he provides to us. Its not a required plugin by any means, but damn is it super nice to watch my characters zoom zoom through maps! Tormiasz is fairly new as a dev. StashBuddy is amazing for what it did and was a pretty popular request for a plugin. With the introduction of the Currency Stash, im not sure i will still need to use it. It is still going to have its place, especially on all the accounts that will continue to just have the 4 basic tabs. DBF and QuestPlugin is probably the biggest question mark. No QuestPlugin effects the extreme 10+ guys more than your average botter that runs 1-2 bots. EB already handles the majority of the questing stuff without QuestPlugin. You do have to manually change OldGrindBots grinding locations, but you can often set it 4,5,6+ zones in advance of where you are. So no, its not as convenient as QuestPlugin, but considering the whole questing portion of this game only lasts a day? maybe 2? Questing in this game takes up such a small percentage of what actually gets botted (unless you constantly reroll or get banned) that i have never personally had any issues with or without a full fletched questing bot. The vast majority of botting happens in maps, or in specific zones, very little time is actually spent questing. Again this is from my perspective. I completely understand the guys running 10, 20 bots etc needing a fully afkable 1-70ish quest bot, but i dont believe the majority of EB users fall into this catagory. Anyways, having 2 of the most important plugins (MapRunner, FlaskHelper) updated within 24-36 hours of the EB beta being released. Its not like they are able to hit some magic "update now" button and everything begins to work. Its a lot of code to sift through and a lot of API changes that were made. Im actually surprised they are able to get these plugins out to the community so quickly.
This, I work full time this week but I still find time to provide the best plugin experience for this community. Wanna hear something funny "Dbuddy" ? I still didnt launched EB since it's up. Why? my time is spent on fixing things. We've almost sent 3K+ messages in the last 2 days, I'm also keeping the community informed on the discord at the same time. But yeah, definitely "feeding my $ botfarm"... I have 8 bots waiting to get launched but I can't because : 1) I don't have time to make labyrinth because fixing takes time 2) Plugins are not ready. Lot of features have to be rewritten because they disappeared (no negative effects at all) and we have to "create" behaviors to handle those little things, ofc fail-free. This is always those who struggle to setup their bots that always come with good arguments as I can see... All you've been spreading is bullshit about what you don't know... That kind of reactions/behaviors is what DBF was talking about, you're asking for things, we take our free time to do them, and then you just shit on everything/everyone when something doesn't go on your side... I know not everyone is like this but that little portion of the community is really toxic. Whatever. // EDIT // See, a good example of what happened last month when you were busy qq-ing on forums because it was too long (related to the post above this one) : Few months before downtime, I decided to give a new youth to FlaskHelper, it took me a week to gather/brainstorm with pushedx to find a decent way to handle everything with very little downtime (remembers you something ?) During this week I hardly slept and it ofc had impact on my real life. When I heard that the bot would be up in few days, I was scared... I was like wtf this flask plugin is mandatory for a lot of people, I will take it in priority... I opened the project, took a quick glance and giggled... it was fixed in an hour. Magic you said? no, it's just that the way it has been reworked was a decent idea ! (atleast for me... pushed stop I already hear you giggling behind your screen...) This project wouldn't be there without the help of the community, dbuddy is true on that side, but by far autoflask has been doing its job as a "basic" flask handler Don't mix up things, we do this for you (and ourselves at the same time !) We couldve decided to just not support any plugins and keep them private, but we're here. So please, have mercy q_q
Yeah, you cant use the computer for other things if you are using exiledbot because it takes control of your mouse (unless you run VM's), so for any casual botter i strongly recommend ExileBuddy.
bought you a beer ps: would have done that anyways, but doing that right now maybe that shows you that not everryone is evil and pushing I'm personally waiting for AIF to be up and ready since this is the core plugin of my methods really. Anyways, I'm totally fine with waiting another week or so. Already waiting 7 weeks + so 1 more doesnt make a real difference really
In fact, if you're not aware of it, we're building a plugin called "CommunityLib", which includes a lot and a lot of ressources for plugins makers, essentially generic methods/functions to be used from anywhere, we're still gathering thoughts from every communitydevs for things to be implemented, but we're already at a certain point. Once we got this compiled I'll adapt AIF to use it, it'll be the first public plugin to ever use that kind of externalization Kappa.

You'll get credits and with enough cooperation, Community Dev tittle (this need to be discussed with the Buddy Staff).
