Since we are just about to hit a patch and the bot just got up ( Thanks pushed and the rest of the devs for updating plugins and the bot!!! ) What builds are you guys running ? I'm running my Voltaxic LA & BA right now, but thinking of switching to a Crit EQ or hack together some code to get LA&BA to run a bit better.
Did you run across a lot of issues with LA + BR? I haven't set up anything yet, will probably be doing this weekend, but that was the build I was thinking of trying because its so powerful manually and thought bot would do pretty good with it. Now im curious as to what problems you are running across.
For the bot I'm running something simple and easy to gear for to farm low tier maps / dried lakes etc. I'm just after currency for what I intend on building for it, which is a flicker strike gratuitous violence gladiator. I need to trial if putting frenzy as a 'fallback skill' will work when flicker cannot be used (on cooldown, no charges). Otherwise will need to hack something together.
I really wanna play some cool builds like CoC discharge or blade vortex. But CoC discharge is the most expensive build in the game, and I cannot afford it. Vaal spark looks cool. What do you guys think? 10c is enough for that build, and it can do low tier maps easily. Especially you can join the pub games to kill shits w/o dieing.
Probably the same problem everyone else is having with builds that use a single and aoe skill. That is that the bot rarely uses the aoe skill and mostly uses the single target due to the oldroutine. I'm looking into it when I have time and looking over oroborous to see how it handles the aoe and single target until it's updated. You could use the build that uses barrage + volleyfire for the time being but your clear speed will go down .
This. Always trade up currency. If you even want to play the game a bit in between botting, flipping currency while using a couple of exs has huge gains.
is oldroutine actually doing well with bladevortex? i liked my old lowlife/ES bladefall builds, but they have been nerfed a bit.
balde vortex is one of the most solid skills to level (never die with cybils) but once u arrived mapping, bv is one of the worst skills u can choose as a botter. focus on clearspeed, kill whole screen with one click and warp on!
Spark selfcast atm its very strong clears everything in 1-2 casts running t6-10 maps. I need to figure out how to make a routine so it can use movement skills as movement is a bit slow. Also when the flask plugin is released that will help too.
coc discharge is cheap as hell. I literally spent 30c on a 5 link voll's and a vagan dagger with 1.4aps 8.5 crit, and that's all you "need" for the build. In the past my goto build was usually RF, but honestly now I'm not sure what I'll run, CoC blade vortex + bladefall is an option and easily doable with one of my current chars, I'm wondering how the bot will handle CoC discharge given it can cause some serious lag but it's likely going to be my first one i try to get functional, else I'll be joining nixon with trying to make voltaxic BR/LA run smoothly.
