You have any knowledge or just spread bs you heard somewhere?

Windows defender catches 99% of the “widespread and prevalent malware” in tests end of 2015, next to 95% of zero-day attacks. AV-Comparatives real-world protection tests found that it catches 94.5% of threats.

Sure it is not the best, but definitely not as crap as people pretend it to be.

Do YOU have any knowledge or do you just like playing the poor mans devil's advocate?

Anyone who's worth his salt knows to not rely on one singular software to make sure his THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS aren't riddled with malware.

Sure it's not as crap as people make it out to be, but if you're looking to get an unfair advantage at a video game you better realize that most bots/hacks are going to be detected as such.

      Hi, all,

While we appreciate this vote of confidence, mistakes can and do happen from time to time.

If you are ever concerned about the veracity of one of our executables, PLEASE run it through a wide-band virus scanner like VirusTotal. It will be normal to have 5 to 6 'false positives', but this will give you a feel for how concerned you need to be.

      cheers,
